I've been going there for most of my life. Then I moved to door county. But my wife and I stop there every time we go to Milwaukee. its the best! It's thin crust. I can't say a bad thing about it. The restaurant is different, there are paint by numbers on the walls but I wouldn't change a thing.... More

We have been going to Maria's Pizza for decades. My parents went there when they were dating and they have been married for 54 years! Our family absolutely loves the atmosphere, friendly staff and of course, the pizza! My brother and I would drive 800 miles one way to get pizza and drive back home, all in a weekend trip!... More

We have been wanting to go here for years having had so many of our friends tell us how good but quirky it was. First, it certainly is quirky. A throwback to simpler times. Can only pay with cash! Religious items all over the walls. Pizza was huge. The best thing about it was the sausage-best I have tasted. Problem... More

Don't expect fancy dining here. Family run low end atmosphere, pizza is very good rates high. Very small so expect wait at busy times. We went on Thur at 6:00 no problem getting table. Ate here back in 60's now my daughter goes there often.. Always try to stop when visiting. Never disapointed

Just Yummy! Maria's Pizza in Milwaukee is an iconic old fashioned pizza parlor, cash only please, run today by 2 of Maria's daughters. In operation since 1957, The pizzas are oversized and the thin crust is just the right mix of chew and crunch. The Maria's special is sausage, onion and mushrooms. A flavorful sauce, and nice fresh fennel seed... More

If you've never been to Maria's be ready for the classic southsiders experience. Maria's has been open for ages and I grew up eating this pizza. Since then I've brought numerous people to share a pie and now they are hooked. Thin cracker crust and a sweet tomato sauce seals the deal. The decor hasn't been touched in years and... More

This reminds me of the 50's. The owner and waitress are older ladies with bright red lipstick and several years past their prime of the golden era. The pizza is delicious and this old time atmosphere just adds to the experience. Would rate the pizza above average. Loved the sausage and mushroom but felt a little too much tomato paste... More

They set the standard for thin crust pizza. Can get busy and the wait is long but so worth it. Cash only.

The pizza was so good. Our son-in-law grew up here. When we stopped in Milwaukee to visit his family, we made sure to stop. We also planned to mail pizza back to California to our kids and grandkids, which we did. The large pizza is a rectangle one with very thin crust, light sauce and generous portions of the fixings... There might a short wait for a table at times but this pizza is well worth any wait. (Can carry out too) Make sure you bring cash though as they do not accept plastic. You will not find any better pizza in Milwaukee. This will not be a traditional round pizza as crust is hand tossed and rolled to appropriate... More
