Pancho and Lefty's specializes in Tex-Mex, but has a wide variety of foods including burgers, burritos, BBQ, mac and cheese, and more! Every dish I have tried has been excellent, and the service is top notch as well. The restaurant is very small, so be prepared to wait for a table, especially at peak meal times.

This small restaurant is the best in town. They smoke their own meats, making for an excellent meal. I love their brisket, and my husband loves their ribs. They also have excellent homemade mac and cheese that is some of the best I have ever had. They do only take cash, so be prepared. There is an ATM on site,... More

This restaurant is located on the square in the heart of downtown. It's supposedly the best restaurant in Monroe, but so much is lacking here... First of all, it's overpriced. Second, they don't take credit cards. Third, they're closed too often; it took me a year to find them open and uncrowded. I stopped in Friday mid-afternoon and found them... More

Every time I go to monroe I want to eat here. Tex Mex food but everything has been tasty always from the nachos to the brisket to the burritos and not to mention he burger. They only take cash and have an extremely small dining room.

A true chef and best host, the owners do everything in the restaurant and on the menu really really well. Tex-Mex and burgers, steaks, sandwiches, local beer and charm. The line goes out the door here most days.

In addition to having the best ribs and Mac & Cheese ANYWHERE, other dishes here are also very special and highly recommended.Try the spicy shrimp tacos or the open flame grilled burgers! If you're within 50 miles of Monroe, be sure to eat here. (Closed Sundays and Mondays)

I've wanted to go here forever and finally got the chance over the weekend. My daughter and I got to the restaurant around 1, gave our name and phone number and left to browse the downtown area while we waited for a table. It is such a tiny place, it's definitely preferable to amble around downtown rather than crowd in... More
