This has become our go to for fish fry on Fridays. We like to support local business & have been very pleased with the quality & amount of food & as important the CS. Whether calling in or sending an order list in, it is correct, hot & fresh. When I call it in the gal who answers is helpful... More

If you are in the mood for a good old Wisconsin fish fry, and are willing to drive a bit, the Nite Cap Inn is well worth the trip. The fish is great and is all you can eat. You place your order prior to being seated and as soon as you are seated your food is hot and ready... More

Very different type of dining experience. First you place your order before you have a table. Then you can go sit at the bar or outside and enjoy a few drinks. The restaurant is very dated, but not in a bad way. It just seems like much hasn't changed in a long time. It was very busy, but tables turned... More

Was looking for a Friday night fish fry, and found one that was far better than anticipated. A little different ordering system but one I like, you order when you first come in. they had us sit in the waiting area outside or at the bar. When they called us to the table our meal was waiting for us. The... More

Arrived late on a Friday night (9:00). They were still serving. They took our order and we ordered a drink from the bar. Within 10 minutes we were called to our table. We sat down and the food appeared on the table. Everything was delicious. The waitress was very attentive and brought food as needed. This is one of the... More

I got fish to go, as it was recommended by someone. They serve a family style all you can eat, so if your into that, GO, it's the same price as a to go order. I ordered the cod, along with the homemade potato pancakes, and was pleasantly surprised. My husband got the fish as well, with the fries, he... More

The nite cap is an institution in southern Wisconsin. People will drive from a couple hours away to go to fish fry on Friday night in the summer. The food is great and if you have to wait you can enjoy drinks on the bar or outside on the patio on a summer night. The food is fresh and even... More

We drive for over an hour for the fish and potato pancakes. The bartenders make the wait enjoyable. We love it and highly recommend it, especially in the summer when you can wait outside on the porch.

We have gone to The Nite Cap Inn for their fish fry several times a year for the last 15 years. It has excellent fish and the potato pancakes are to die for. There has always been a wait which we've always said was worth it. However, it's gotten worse the last few years we've gone and this last time... More

The fish fry is amazing. The potato pancakes are great. HOWEVER the service is VERY slow. We waited for an hour for a table while there were free tables in the dining area. We think it was because there was little help in the kitchen. We've been here on a busier night which explained the wait. However, on a slow... More
