We never miss this place on a trip to Door County. We always go for breakfast and we always have the Swedish Pancake Special--Swedish meatballs, Swedish pancakes and fried eggs! Cute "butik" here, too.

We always stop by Al Johnson's to check out the goats on the roof. Always fun to see them, and it really is a fun novelty. We've only eaten breakfast here once and had a fine experience. The food was good, but not great. I...More

Enjoyable dining experience both outside and inside. We dined on good food while the goats dined on the grass roof. Great service too!

What a fun and quaint breakfast place! The atmosphere is very authentic. It's a Swedish theme. The waitresses are dressed accordingly. The food and gifts are Swedish made. The food is good and fresh. Definitely a must if you are in the area. It's great!

Weekends are very busy. Over an hour wait for a table for breakfast. Food was OK but nothing special. European flair, but missing authentic foods.

Had a delicious late breakfast. Swedish style pancakes (crepes) and French toast stuffed with turkey and ham. Service was quick, food was tasty but the calculate the bills manually and our waiter got ours wrong and overcharged us by $10. Probably an accident and he...More

This was a great place for our family - four kids ranging in age from 7 down to 9 months. Very family friendly. The older kids each had the Swedish pancakes off the kids' menu. Served with whipped cream and strawberries. It's like dessert for...More

I've been hearing about your fabulous Swedish meatballs, but as we're to be in Sister bay at lunchtime, I have wondered if you offer lunch-sized portions which include that item?

I'm pretty sure they don't have a lunch portion per say. Ive had side portions as small as 4 meat balls per serving, and larger entrée portions. Make sure to get the gravy and a side of lingon berry. Plan on napping... More
