Recently ate at the Peking restaurant it was the worst experience ever. I could not understand why the carpet seemed sticky and then realized that the carpet was very wet in the bar area and dinner was the worse we ever experienced the egg and spring rolls were over done and not very good the fried rice had a burned... I took two of my children here for supper. I almost fell over when I received the bill. $65.00 for three people for dinner? ARE YOU INSANE?????????? Never supporting this establishment again. The food was definitely NOT worth $65.00.

Another perfect meal in the perfect atmosphere! We love visiting Peking because we know the service will be excellent, the food will be yummy and the atmosphere will let us relax! Wonderful Mojitos of various flavors - in the summer fresh mint and berries are used - yummy! Crab Rangoon is always a choice - excellent! We tried the Beef... More

The Peking is in a dated hotel building, with a hint of stale smoke from an era gone bye, as you enter. Once inside, the decore offers you an opportunity to envision the aforementioned "era gone bye", and enjoy a fine meal with good service. The usually attentive service also feels as though it were from a time when Customers... More

Nothing fancy and the food was so-so will not go back again. Not a true Chinese restaurant and the food said so.

You won't be disappointed at this place. The crab rangoon is especially good. The whole dining experience is moving. The staff are well trained and friendly. Very professional. I love this restaurant primarily for its grand Victorian decor. I have eaten here a dozen times and the food is always good and the service is usually excellent as well.

We went here based on the reviews. The restaurant is in a beautiful old hotel but the food was disappointing. The shrimp dish my husband had had plenty of shrimp but was overloaded with frozen peas and virtually tasteless. The noodle and vegetable dish I had was low on different types of vegetables and virtually tasteless. We asked for chili... More

The Peking has great food, hands down. But what I love most about this place is their bar area. They have a wonderful staff that mixes up classic cocktails set against a historic back-drop. The restaurant is located inside the former Landmark Hotel in Wausau. Back in its prime, travelers from all over the world would flock to the nearby... More
