I'm sorry, I don't understand how this place has so many great reviews. I had the displeasure of attending this establishment three times during my business trip in Kendall, WI back in June. The first time, my coworker had told me that this was hands down the best restaurant in the area. So I got a coffee and a caesar... More

Cool old school house with great owner and service. Food was high quality and down home. Apple pie was worth the stop. Will go for breakfast next time.

There were 6 people in our party and the restaurant was not full. However, it took 90 minutes to get our meals! Everyone had the fish special and everyone was in agreement that the fish was very bland and certainly not worth the wait! Would not go back!

We eat here for breakfast and dinner almost daily for a long 4 day weekend. Do not have a single complaint. Very nice place, service was wonderful and more importantly - food was amazing. Highly recommend the prime rib too - it was one of the specials - but was completely wonderful.

Good food, nice service a bit slow but considering the taste of food I did not mind. Great service from all.

Food is not typical diner food. Meals are more typical of a much more expensive restraunt. Desserts and meals were especially good with local farm fresh ingredients. Recommend

We stop in pretty regularly here and have found the food to be consistently good. Breakfast is always a treat, we love their stuffed French toast. We also come for the Friday night fish fry, it is all you can eat - very good, crisp and flaky fish served with your choice of potato and choice of soup or salad.... More

During a recent stay in nearby Wilton, WI, we had both breakfast and dinner at the Dorset Valley School Restaurant. Excellent made-from-scratch food in a unique atmosphere (an old one-room school, complete with school bell). Very reasonable prices. Definitely recommend!

The restaurant is located in the heart of Amish country and you may see Amish buggies passing on the rural highway. Enjoyed 3 meals here while in the area to bike the trails. We found it to be the best food in the area as well as a great value. For a small restaurant, they have a fairly extensive menu... More

We stayed at the Trailside B&B and they serve their breakfasts at the School Restaurant. We arrived on Friday, so went in Friday night for their All-you-can-eat Fish Fry. You can get broiled or fried or a combination and we chose the latter. I had a salad and fries with the fish. Broiled is perfectly cooked with a side of... More
