We waited for 45 minutes to be seated. We opted for the buffet but there was no food and no one to help us. We flagged down a waitress and she said the food was gone because of a tour bus. We went back to our table. Our waitress said they were replenishing the buffet. But, in another half hour,... More

I am so very sorry to hear about your experience at the Sunset House. I'm not one to make excuses, we simply dropped the ball here. Yes, this WAS a bad day, and as you have read, it really isn't typical of the service we provide. It makes me sad that you visited us that particular day, as we were... More

We stayed a week in Cody and found ourselves returning to Sunset House for most of our meals. The breakfasts were excellent with good portions. Loved the homemade pumpkin muffins! Dinner offered sandwiches to steak. We found the rainbow trout to be the best we had had on our trip. Their quality continued in their fish and chips which used... More

The meals were excellent and what we needed after a long day. The waitress, Ashton, was a delightful HS Senior who knew the menu well, and checked on us frequently. We will be back again if at all possible.

Staff is very friendly. We had 2 eggs sunny side up with bacon, ham and hash brown. Very good. They also have a buffet. Orange juice is not freshly squeezed. Good coffee. Free Wifi. The place can accomodate a lot of people so no wait.

We had breakfast here for two days in a row. I had the omelet both days and my wife had some variety of pancakes. The portions are very large and and left us both full and ready to take on Yellowstone both days. The first day we went, service was very slow. The staff was friendly, but the restaurant was... We had stopped into the Buffalo Bill Museum and had asked for a recommendation on where to get dinner and this was perfect. It was described as a step above the chain steakhouses like Sizzler, for a similar price. We found the food to be delicious (one of us had a burger, the rest of us ate steak) with generous... More

Stopped off here on the way from Yellowstone. The menu was fairly ordinary, but there were lots of options. The grilled turkey sandwich and BLT were excellent. The chips were homemade and really good. The tasty slaw had nuts and cranberries.

We had breakfast which was very tasty and plentiful. What sets this restaurant apart is the excellent service. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel clerk and it certainly did not disappoint. Located toward the west end of town. Very good!
