Driving cross country, after Yellowstone we wanted to see the Buffalo Bill Center of the West; afterwards we decided to have dinner in town. Irma met that need perfectly; we loved the historical aspect of the restaurant. Buffalo Bill Cody built and owned the hotel. As far as the food is concerned, we decided to go with the buffet; it... We were excited to explore Buffalo Bill's historic Irma Hotel during our day in Cody. It's fun to see the original bar and the trophies on the wall. Because we were pressed for time (and because a recommended brew pub had closed), we decided to stay for their bargain $11 lunch. Well, you get what you pay for. The food... More

We ate here for lunch, and I would not care to go back. The buffet was disappointing, no matter how fancy they tried to make it look. And I have never seen a buffet before that only allowed you to make certain choices. If you wanted some things, you had to pay extra. Glad I didn't pay the extra because... More

This is a very good restaurant with a nice choise of meals. You can go for the buffet but we had a la carte. The salmon was excelent and the sirloin steak was perfect. The sevice was good and we had no complaints.

I asked where I should go as a first time visitor and this was highly recommended. So I did and when my waitress finally arrived and in a hurry I might add she recommended the prime rib as a must. I did and it was avg and I had the smallest baked potato I've ever had in a restaurant plus... More

Went to the Irma for the weekend all you can eat prime rib. Excellent prime rib and generous portions. Loved the vegetables and the baked potato was so good. Love the atmosphere at the Irma. Casual and fun. The service was good and very friendly. Loved the cowboy cutting prime rib.

Arrived in Cody after a long day, found the Irma (quite central). Better than expected, very lively, great service, good honest food, good prices, an enjoyable time before we got on the coach (it stops there) to the rodeo.

We had dinner at the Irma after our 12-hour tour of Yellowstone on Sept. 7.. The staff was very friendly and the food delicious. The restaurant was decorated in the "Old Western Style" and very attractive.

So thrilled we made the time on our most recent visit to Cody to stop in to the Irma for an early dinner. We had plans to visit the Dan Miller show so we stopped in late afternoon and were seated promptly at a table right near the historic bar - beautiful by the way! The three of us chose... More
