Service here is always friendly. Usually good flavors, but sometimes so-so. The best I've ever had here was their Black Cod, but it has not been on the menu the past couple of years.More

Hum, Well, if your 9 year old said "The salmons not cooperating with the sauce." , then maybe a pizza place should have been your first choice. ( been there done that ) The Kitchen has fabulous food including a happy hour small plate menu that adults love. Next time I suggest not bringing children

Description
The idea for The Kitchen came from a vision of a restaurant that would provide something different - a refined, yet casual establishment that would provide modern cuisine with a comforting twist. The cuisine at The Kitchen embraces various culinary techniques and ingredients including all natural meats, seasonal vegetables, and sustainable, fresh fish. The presentation is clean, simple and natural. The beautiful and elegant architecture of the building mirrors the concepts in the food. Purchased in June 2005, the old A-frame structured house was renovated to create a space with award-winning design and remarkable ambiance. The modern yet comforting theme led to the bamboo bar and tables, the luminescent eco-panel wave of light, and natural color scheme. An open kitchen design allows for greater connection with guests and offers a personalized experience. Enjoy a large outdoor deck during the long summer nights or sit by the warm fireplace in winter.
