The food was outstanding. Filets on a 600 degree Himalayan salt block. Wild mushrooms included delicious Beech mushrooms. Asparagus perfectly cooked. Truffle butter and hollandaise added to the flavors. Wine selection options were excellent. We were treated well with a champagne toast for my husband's birthday. The only disappointment was the ambiance was subpar as the restaurant is actually in the bar and there were TVs on (no sound). That took away from the experience which is why I didn't give a five...

We had dinner at The Restaurant at White Buffalo Club and had a good time. They had a special of a Tomahawk steak which was cooked perfectly and was very good. Kate provided good service. Being in the basement the room is a little dark which to me is a downside but otherwise it was a good meal.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were disappointed that the bar was not open to sit at for drinks as it was reserved for hotel guests coming for dinner. We were however able to sit at our table early so it didn’t matter. Drinks took a looooong time to come and the place wasn’t really busy and the place isn’t that big. When they did come, they were made well.
Our server was Micah and he was a veteran server. We had the bone marrow, Caesar salad and Bibb lettuce salads to start. We tried the 8 oz filet, tomahawk, 14 oz ribeye and veg pasta for entrees- all were cooked to order. The tomahawk was a special and came on a sizzling salt block and was amazing! Our sides of lobster Mac n Chs and mashed potatoes were good as well as hot on arrival. Even though we were stuffed we had the Buffalo pie and profiteroles for dessert and enjoyed both.
*Sadly they were out of the bread they had listed on the specials wall board. This was a great meal in Jackson Hole.

After a two week trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone that involved entirely too much time in a camper, my wife and I decided to pamper ourselves with hotel and dinner reservations at the White Buffalo Club. We would have been better off staying at the no amenities campground we left in Yellowstone.
We arrived in Jackson a day early initially, and inquired about changing our reservation and pushing it up a day. Initially I was told there was a $220 price difference for our suite, which I agreed to. Upon trying to confirm the change, Pedro, the general manager, stated that on second glance, that there were no rooms available and we would have to upgrade to the $900 per night room. We declined and spent another night in the camper, but were frustrated to see that we could book our same room, for the same price, at multiple other travel websites for the night we wanted.
Unfortunately, the disappointment didn’t end at the hotel staff. When we showed up early for our dinner reservation (because we were told on multiple occasions that if we were late they would give our table away), we inquired about bar seating if we had to wait. The host stated the bar was unavailable and then simply walked away. I understand that COVID has effected the bars, etc. so that was fine. The host however never said he could seat us or that we would have to wait. He just walked away. We flagged down a waitress and she confirmed our reservation and sat us at what appeared to be a makeshift table outside of the bar with two paper menus. We can recite you everything on it, including the vintage of the wines, because we stared at it for 17 minutes without so much as an “I’ll be with you shortly” from a server. We walked out and went elsewhere to spend our $400 on dinner. There was nothing fine about this dining experience

I'm not sure what they put on the ribeye but it was extremely greasy. I could only eat a few bites of that $60 piece of meat. The mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious though. I wasn't too happy about having to pay $6 for bread and butter that likely came free if were able to dine in the restaurant. I also wasn't too happy about being charged full price although I was a guest at the hotel. I didn't see the 10% off coupon in my room until check out. Here's a tip for Mgmt - If you are delivering the food to a room in your hotel why not discount the check automatically??!!

Wonderful steakhouse and cocktail bar. We had a great meal here we ordered the bone marrow - highly recommend - steak, Brussels sprouts, and pork belly pasta. The steak came on a salt block and was cooked to perfection! We also had amazing cocktails! I was disappointed however with our service. Our server barely spoke to us and we had to ask about specials while he was extremely friendly and immediately offered up the specials to the table next to us. I assume this was age based discrimination…

Visited this restaurant last year for first time. Excellent food/service. Called to book reservation 3 weeks ago for 1/26/2022. Made several calls before someone answered phone. Confirmed reservation for 2. Called back a week before reservation to confirm reservation. Left message. No callback. Arrived for dinner and no reservation. No manager to speak with. Attitude - sorry for the confusion. No empathy. There are several other find dining restaurants in JH. Asked a waitress at another restaurant about White Buffalo. Great insight - ownership change, food still excellent, but service is now awful. Warning - party of 2 can easily spend $200 wine/food. If you are ok with 5 star food and 2 star service go for it.

We love a good steak and had been looking forward to this place for weeks. I asked for a dirty martini. It had to be returned. And I am sure they did not shake it up again. And not very cold. The steak had good flavor but it was over salted. And I love lots of salt so I was suprised. For the amount of money this resturtant is not worth the money. Spend your money elsewhere. The service was good.

Great steaks in a small, intimate setting! Mixed drinks were delicious, and Ramone, our server, was attentive to our needs. (I especially appreciated his dialing back the country classic playlist after our request.) Be sure to have your steaks served on a Himalayan salt block - it finishes the cooking process in a wonderful way!

My meal at White Buffalo Club was fantastic. The kind of meal I could have lingered over for 5 hours if only so I would have been able to eat more of it. The bread service was amazing. And I mean bread is always great, who doesn't love bread but the butter was so savory and delish. But the steak, perfectly cooked and tender. Along with the butter options for top. I'd go back right now. I thought the meal was a fantastic value and I hope to return again when I make my way back to Jackson.

This restaurant is by far our favorite in Jackson. The service, the ambiance and most importantly, the food was fantastic! Our group of four loved everything we ate from the apps, to the salad and soup to the main course meats. Our only regret is that we were too full for dessert. We will definitely be back!

The White Buffalo easily exceeded our high expectations. The service was very good. The wine by the glass list was very interesting. My salmon was delicious. But the best part was the desert-a piece of chocolate cake with ice cream. The texture of the cake was fragile but very tasty. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We arrived at 8pm for an 8pm reservation. At 8:27 we were still waiting. It became necessary for us to seek out the "hostess" and point out that there was an empty table available. Her response was that it wasn't the table they had anticipated giving to us. Huh? The room is small, the tables all the same, the seats all the same. ??? So, a half an hour after the reservation we were seated. The server made several mistakes during the meal. Bottom line:This place needs a manager. The food is very good, the service is amateur time. The room is small and noisy. The steaks are $50. My Italian wife had to point out to them that a wine in their list is not from Sicily, as claimed in their wine list, but is actually from Piedmonte... northern Italy. A very disappointing evening.

My husband and I sat at the bar and had dinner. The bartender/server was great about making recommendations and light conversation. We both had steaks, which were sourced locally and exceptional. Cooked to perfection. My husband got the 10 oz bavette served on a salt block. It was out of this world good! I had the fillet which was also excellent. We enjoyed our meal and would definitively recommend for a nice dinner. We thought the $200 for the meal and atmosphere was about right.

Spent a week in Jackson Hole. Not my first rodeo. This was absolutely the worst meal we had. I get it, covid is causing all types of staffing and supply problems but this place is inexcusable. They seated our group in a hallway over near the gym. The server had no idea what was going on. Everything took forever. The steak I got was the worst cut of meat that I have ever seen. I could barely eat 1/3 of it. It was full of gristle. I remember the wine being ok but the food here is meh. There are plenty of fine dining experiences in Jackson Hole. Go somewhere else. That’s my bonafide advice.
