This local joint serves up a fantastic breakfast. My wife and kids loved everything we ate here on two different occasions. The place gets crowded so you just have to be patient waiting for a table.

What a nice surprise to find this superb bakery in the western town of Jackson. French bread, croissants, brioche, cookies, all delicious! The coffees are the best in town. The only downside is the space is way too small to accommodate the number of customers, and it is awkwardly organized, especially if you dine in, the servers have to navigate... More

Perhaps a little too small- while the bakery is beyond question top drawer, it's always very full of people- unless you hit in the shoulder season- between summer tourist season and winter ski season- spring or fall- and you will almost certainly wait for a little to a long time to get served. It is simply the nature of the... More

Charming atmosphere. Excellent baked goods - my favorite breads and pastries in the USA. Be prepared for a little bit of a wait for a table at times - worth it! Last time I was in I was caught a little bit off guard by the very salty young lady at the cash register - but very pleasantly surprised by... More

I love bakeries! I liked this one a lot ! It was more European! Lots of croissants . I had an almond croissant. It was delicious. My husband had one of their most popular! It had sugar crusted in the out side! So good! My husband likes more traditional bakeries but I liked it! Only complaint I had is my... More

Glad you liked the croissants and the kouign amann (a personal favorite ;) Our scones do veer towards the traditional, crumbly side and if you ever aren't happy, please just notify a manager and we'd gladly swap it out for something you find more delicious. Hope to see you again soon! More

The baked goods and breakfast options here are amazing, decadent, and worth the treat. The homemade nutella is delicious too!

Perfect, cozy spot for lunch just off of the town square. The French bread, pain au chocolat, and all of the baked goods are phenomenal. We really enjoyed the soup and the ham and cheese sandwich was terrific. The bakery was quite crowded the two times we visited but it was well worth the wait. The coffee is Intelligentsia- really... They use intelligentsia beans for their coffee- so the coffee is guaranteed to be of a high quality. I deeply enjoyed my apple cider as well. The pastries are well displayed. I recommend the peach tart and a cookie!

Got a decent cup of coffee here at this bakery off the main street in Jackson. Drawback - no apparent gluten free options on the menu. Strictly wheat consumers only. Family members enjoyed their pastry. Comparable to many places in the Pacific Northwest

Hi Moira - I apologize if our staff didn't direct you to any of our gluten free options. We do offer quite a few gluten free items (from cookies, to cakes, to breakfast and lunch dishes) and our kitchen is happy to make dietary substitutions where possible. Visit us again and hopefully we can steer you in a better direction! More

Persephone bakery is nicely located on the main road in Jackson and a block away from the main square. Cozy indoor atmosphere and very nice outdoor terrace for the warm sunny days. The food is good, especially the bread.

Description
Inspired by bakeries in France and beyond, Persephone Bakery Boulangerie and Cafe remains rooted in Wyoming, a local orientation expressed in our breakfast and lunch menus' focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The cafe carries a core collection of classic artisanal breads as well as a spectrum of sweets, from French croissants and kouing aman to cupcakes and tarts. To complement our creations, Persephone proudly carries Chicago-based artisanal roaster Intelligentsia Coffee. Housemade flavor syrups and European hot chocolate round out the barista bounty.
