After reading all the great reviews, we couldn't wait to try the Prairie Rose. My husband & I ordered the breakfast burrito & cinnamon roll and shared. They were both just ok. My kids ordered the biscuits & gravy & the pancakes. Neither were anything special. I'd try a different place next time. Also, if you enjoy coffee, get one... More

We came on a Sunday for breakfast and they were very busy. It is a small cafe, so we had to wait for a spot. We ended up sitting at the counter, which I would say is advantageous, because the waitresses are always right there. Everyone was very nice and upbeat even though they never stopped moving. It seems to... More

Show up for brunch and expect at least a half hour wait. Decent service for how busy the place is. Simple interior makes the noise and activity more bearable. Avoid the backroom that is devoid of windows. Tasty diner food. Ask for extra crispy hashbrowns unless you like them mushy. Chicken fried steak, gravy, and cinnamon roll are all good.... More

Recently visited Laramie. Found Prairie Rose Cafe for a quick breakfast. Very friendly staff. Eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast. Quick, will cooked eggs, over medium which is often a problem at these little places. The only reason for 4 rating verses 5 is that the bacon was cold. Not the end of the world. I will go there again.

Such a great place to kick-off your day with an amazing omelet. My daughter always gets the House Burrito with Green Sauce. It's was as big as her face. 😀 Wonderful folks run the business. A must go

I used to eat at a counter joint in San Francisco where they served the best breakfast in town for a few bucks. The Prairie Rose serves the best breakfast in this town for a few bucks. While they rightfully boast of their green-chile smothered breakfast burrito, I am particular to their omelets. If you wanta yummy, hearty breakfast in... More

If you love Breakfast, then you will love the Prairie Rose Cafe. The staff are friendly and nice, the food is fresh and hot. Great place to have a cup of joe or the incredible "Danwich". You have to eat it to believe it. It is simply wonderful and extremely filling.

Arriving in Laramie early on a Sunday morning in November, we wanted breakfast but thought fast food was all we'd find. We drove past Prairie Rose Cafe, and decided to give it a try. We walked in at 8:45 A.M. and found the restaurant packed. We settled into the only 2 seats available, which were at the counter. I ordered... More

Great "diner" food! B&G tasted like good ole sausage gravy made from drippings. Scrambled eggs were lite & fluffy! My honey's ham steak was full of flavor! Eggs were cooked just right for over easy. The pancake was fluffy & delicious. Friendly & fast service! I recommend you get a cinnamon roll on the way out!
