This is the ultimate pastry and goodie shop! We've never had croissants that flake so nicely when you take a bite. The desserts are straight from a heavenly place: light, airy and infused with flavor – nuggets of citrus or dense chocolate or coconut. The macaroons redefine what a macaroon is. We have never found a place quite like this... More

Very unfriendly staff, both my wife and I felt the bad attitude of their staff (even though we had gone in separately on different days). The staff just ignored us while we waited to order so we left. This place has a cliquish vibe and we both got the impression that people of certain races and nationalities were not welcomed.

Surprisingly good Pastries of cheesecake, chocolate cakes and other tarty desserts - a wonderful treat and air conditioned along the Hilo bayfront.

This is my go-to place for whenever I want decadent pastries. Not a place to go to if you are on a diet.

The sales clerk recommended the citrus cheesecake and it was amazing. Creamy, tangy, wonderful. Would definitely go back.

It's a very small quaint place but great desserts, cakes, pastries etc. A little pricey but worth it!

I had a craving for the quiche recently for lunch. They were out. Seeing my face the owner said to call next time and she will have some waiting for me! Want to impress guests? Have some Moonstruck desserts around. Yowza.

The day I was in Hilo (Saturday market day) it was chucking down buckets of rain all along the east coast of the Big Island, there were tourists everywhere, all rushing around, the market was crazy busy. I stepped into Moonstruck Patisserie and felt instantly welcomed into a beautiful, quiet little heaven amidst the chaos. I had a lovely pot... More

Oh my heavens! What a hidden gem! If you are in Hilo, do not fail to find this little business for decadent pastries and desserts. The cheesecake, fruit torte, chocolate mousse cake had the four of us oohing and aahing throughout the eating experience. We all licked our plates! Food made fresh on premises reminiscent of Paris but the prices... More
