We always make a point to go to Ken's when in Hilo. I love the banana pancakes, which are so huge! There are so many choicies and some that you can't get anywhere else.

This is a classic diner with great atmosphere, service, and food. Portions are HUGE and prices are a good change from many places in Hawaii!

Wow. We both got the keiki (child) pancakes with bacon and eggs. The servings are so large! I could not even finish the child's meal! So if you have a large appetite I can surely recommend. We only got to visit the once but their...More

No visit to Hilo is ever complete without dropping by Ken's. Laid back, friendly, hearty and filling. Whether your comfort food is pancakes, waffles, chili, there are choices. Light or heavy, vegetarian, pescatarian or carnivore, there's lots to chose from.

Not a restaurant for the indecisive, Ken’s is an authentic American diner experience with a delightfully kitsch Hawaiian twist. The enormous menu runs many, many pages and covers the titular pancakes, eggs (n things), Benedict’s, noodles, fruit, larger entrees, omelettes and much more. Service is...More

We enjoy this restaurant which offers breakfast items at all hours. The staff is nice, always trying to accommodate customers wish, except for bringing their own booze.

Ken's has the biggest menu we ever saw on the island, so I've gotta believe that everyone will find something that they want to eat! Pancakes - good (not amazing), bacon - super & done just like I requested. Husband was happy with the flavor...More

I'm not sure of the average price, because they have tons of options. It is a family restaurant, but prices at any restaurant in Hawaii generally are higher than many places on the mainland.
