We stopped on the way to Volcanoes NP. The food was very good. Husband and I each had pork with cabbage bowl which was the perfect portion, well seasoned, not greasy. Kids had chicken katsu which was excellent with a nice light panko crust. kids portions are huge.

We had nothing fancy here we just needed some grinds. The menu is very extensive and prices reasonable. We had small rice bowls with toppings of kailua pig and barbeque chicken which tasted great. My judge of a restaurant is how they prepare their rice... which was excellent. If you need eats between the long road to Kona and hilo... More

Small place where orders back up quickly. Gravy for the loco moco is thin, watery and flavorless. If you're in Ocean View and jonesing for local food, it's your only choice.

Great variety, big menu choices. is more expensive than the other L&L BBQ places on the island (Unsure why) approx $1.50+/item more expensive. Not always accept plastic, but cash always. Language barrier is present (Unless your Asian) but over all their really nice & good food

Locals love plate lunches, and this place fits that bill. Rice, mac salad and your favorite beef, pork, chicken, fish, or shrimp to go with it. They even offer a healthy menu, meaning you can opt for all green salad with your main portion, or a brown/white rice and green salad with your main potion. The selection is very wide... More

Not our first visit to an L & L. Expected the food to be similar at the very least. Ordered combination seafood plate. Received two very small, very thin fish fillets, four shrimp and only ONE scallop, all over cooked ! Husband had chicken katsu bowl, veges good, katsu a little over cooked too. Service was quick and efficient.

A surprising stop with few other choices. The staff were quick, friendly and courteous. The chicken katsu and Korean chicken were excellent.

It is L&L - those who know will get it. It was a good stop with good Hawaiian BBQ style food for a hungry family. Seating is limited, prices are fair, service is so-so but hey, they got our order out quick and correctly so we were all happy. Pricing is hard for me being from the mainland everything in... More

We live in an area with few dining choices. L&L is our occasional choice for not cooking tonight. The food has been fine, prepared to order and comes out pretty quickly. Beyond the Hawaiian fare, there is an extensive Asian menu and most of it has been good. The won ton soup is very good with a great broth and... More

Went there for lunch and made another stop on the way back from Green Sand Beach. Liked the variety of food. Hawaiian with some filipino dishes and just a terrific variety at reasonable prices.
