We went to Kilauea Lodge to fuel up for an afternoon hike in the National Park, and were provided with a lot of good food for a very reasonable price. The welcome, the service, and the very pleasant room all added to the experience. My wife ordered fish and chips, and the fish on offer was ono, a big step... More

We stopped at this restaurant as part of our guided tour and we were nicely surprised by its quality. The food was excellent, well cooked and fresh. The staff was very kind, explaining how everything was cooked and going through every detail before choosing what to wat. And desserts, home made, were really good. The drinks menu is quite long... Before going to see the glow of Kilauea, we are here. Neat little place with nice menu. The mahi-mahi was fresh and so tender. I was surprised. We'll be back!

This restaurant was the dinner stop for the tour group but the food was great and if you are into doing your own thing then this is still a place you should visit. We had the Screaming Tiki Lava Flow, cocktail. Those that had the steak were all happy with the way it was cooked. And those that had the... More

went just for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and was not disappointed. The food is very good and a nice respite from the normal island fare. The service was very good and the ambiance is romantically rustic.

Thank you, mahalo, for joining us for your anniversary. Coincidentally, Albert and I bought the property on our honeymoon 30 years ago. We are about to celebrate that anniversary. Hear Hear to anniversaries! Aloha Lorna More

We stopped here for dinner. It had the feel of a western lodge with Hawaiian accents with a bit of german chalet thrown in for good measure, all done well. The food and service were exceptional.

If you like pickles, boy have they got a breakfast for you! Try the Chief Ranger. The massive fireplace gives this place a lot of atmosphere. We enjoyed seeing the Rotary Club friendship "plaques" from all over the world.

A very nice lodge. We ate breakfast here every morning while staying in Volcano. The cornbeef has was outstanding and made from scratch. The staff was always very pleasant.

Excellent from start to finish. Beautiful grounds surround this quaint interior. Service was top notch. Food was really good. Hit this place before entering and exploring the park.

Description
Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant, located in the quiet village of Volcano, sits on 5 acres of gardens and gazebos and native forest. This hotel restaurant features a large fireplace, local art, koa tables, and is open nightly. Chef/owner Albert Jeyte blends flavors from his European background with farm, ranch and seafood products from Hawaii, the surrounding Pacific and elsewhere.

Volcano Village is at 3700 feet elevation and evenings are often cool and misty. The historic fireplace welcomes guests with it's cheery fire. Home made soups and breads tease the appetite. Albert specializes in unusual game...venison, antelope, rabbit, duck. The biggest sellers are local fish dishes; ahi, ono, mahimahi and the exotic Tristan lobster. A large wine list complements the eclectic menu.
