The food and entertainment is a must! We have been to other luaus and this one is the best without question. You certainly won't leave hungry! The price was great for what you get. Do not pay any attention to the review from pamikeydc who...talked about it being too expensive. Why complain about the price when you knew the price and paid for the tickets? They were very COVID aware and tables were spaced accordingly with families sitting at their own tables. The ONLY reason I do not give this a "5" ranking is because the first hour was so uncomfortable with the sun in our faces. It would be nice if there were some kind of sun shield. I would strongly suggest paying for the upgraded seating because tables are closer to the stage and are out of the sun probably 45 minutes earlier than the ones at the back. With that said, this is the best luau you will experience.More

Listen folks…I’m a realist. This is 1000000% a money theft at the Hilton. For $152/per person no way on any earth would I do this again. It’s on the ground. Not even on the beach and not even a show of the pig. No Hawaiian...men doing a dance. This was sooo bad and I absolutely recommend you find a Real luau!!! Mosttt especially for $152/pp. “ALL” you can drink rail liquor. One line. No worth it at all. Sorry Hilton I didn’t mean to be mean but it’s horrible. Dominic our server was superrrrrrr nice and the nicest man I met on the island this is the only reason why I’m giving this 1 star.More

The story was great, the food was great and they were so accommodating of my daughter who is vegan. Every course they had something special for her! The fire spinning is NOT TO BE MISSED! We loved it.

First, Trip Advisor says it's closed. IT IS OPEN. I have been to this luau 3+ times over the years and this may have been the best experience yet. Yes, COVID restrictions require masks until you are seated and when you are up to get...food and drinks, but it's very nice only being seated with your own party, we were 5. Our server Rainier, made sure we had plenty of everything we needed, paying particular attention to tired and thirsty kids. The drink line was never longer than 5 minutes, MaiTais potent, the food line went fast, about 7 minutes. Appetizer plates (purple chips & onion dip, Hawaiian bread, green salad, purple sweet potato salad and poke) were served plated. That was almost enough for me. Kids were served chicken fingers & Mac & cheese. The buffet , plated by servers was excellent, rice dishes, vegetables, teriyaki chicken, island fish and Kaluha pork. Dessert plates with 4 small bites, delicious, followed by boxes of Island Shortbread to take away. The show is still intriguing after all these years and seeing it through the eyes of my grandchildren was really special this time. The narrator's son is an especially talented dancer in nearly every scene, you'll know him by his tattoos. He saves the best for last!More

Food was good not great, entertainment was good, though we were ready to leave when it was over. They brought out ponchos when a rain storm came and continued on. The service was below what you would expect. Would be curious to see how they...handle non COVID crowds because they did t handle the smaller crowd wellMore

We loved the Luau. We had front row seats and felt that was definitely worth the money. We also showed early-at the published line up time to get the best of the VIP seats. We loved the food. The drinks tasted ok-but I preferred the...wine to the mixed drinks. You do have to get up for your drinks but you can get more than one at a time. The entertainment was awesome. It poured rain most of the time-they quickly handed out Ponchos and the show went on. Great show. Highly recommend.More

My husband booked this for my birthday while here. The servers can only work with what they have. The food sadly was awful, fish over cooked , pork was dry. The rice was a bad mixture of white rice with frozen vegetables. The vegetables were...over cooked. I was so excited to go and so disappointed. The show was good. I can’t hold the bad food against the performers. This was not worth the $390 paid. As a Hilton diamond member and vacation club owner I was shocked at paying $24 for parking and the quality of the food.More

Outstanding outdoor luau at the Hilton Waikoloa complex. Pretty typical, very tasty luau food. Pay the extra money for front roll seating, well worth the extra money.

Overpriced and bad food. You can find other Luau's on the island that are better and cheaper. This one needs to step it up.
