Sometimes the people at the front aren't the most welcoming, but the food and service are generally excellent.

Roy's can be good. But this visit, and a prior visit about a year go, very bad. Sliced potato with fish...less than ideal...texturally use puree/mashed potato. However, of greater importance was the seasoning...none. Sad to say, since I've had this fish at Roy's in HNL....More
Since I've been to different Roy's before I was expecting a similar experience from this location for our 10 yr anniversary. At the anaheim location, we were treated with a welcome note, flower, photo and desert for our anniversary. Here just got a discount and...More
I really wanted to go to a different restaurant for my birthday dinner, but it was closed for a private event. I’m so glad it was as we ended up at Roy’s! Great service, delicious food, they even went out of their way to make...More
The food was very good with great appetizers (Szechuan short ribs!) and great main courses- signature butterfish, ahi and a very good swordfish like fish with pesto. Not cheap but fun for a large group, everybody happy with their food and drinks.
Duck Ahi, Butterfish, and short Rib- Duck above average- Ahi below- Butterfish off the charts and Rib ok. VERY pricey for what you get- I realize Hawaii is a rip off food wise but at this price point I would have expected more. Didn't know...More

Very good food (would strongly recommend the baby back ribs, steak was excellent, prawns a bit sub-par). Good service. The chocolate souffle was good but nothing to write home about. Overall good meal though overpriced (but thats what you get in tourist centres)
We went early, not knowing there was an aloha special from 5-6. Fixed price menu for $59. Same dinner is $70 after 6. We had a sampler plate of 3 appetizers, entree and dessert. I had a generous portion of steamed mani and my husband...More
