I mean.. the food isn't horrible. And if you consider the view, it might be worth the expensive prices! I read reviews on the restaurant before going, and was warned about a waiter named Luis "with a ponytail" and told not to go there until he no longer works there.. Well, we got him! And he seemed like he didn't... More

We should have read restaurant reviews before choosing to eat here. Prices are way too high for the quality of food. Shrimp Scampi was dry. Ordered sushi and took 5 minutes to bring wasabi. They served me white rice that was burnt and we also heard the table next to us complain about the Scampi being too dry as well.... More

A stay in any of the Hawaiian islands can turn into a search for a great mai tai. There are as many versions as there are bartenders. Bouchons, upstairs in the Cheng Young Village in Hanalei, has a great fresh version. And afternoon and happy hour price is less than $8. After paying $16 at the St. Regis for a... More

The people made all the difference in this primarily tourist attraction. Our server was island friendly keeping the vibe of all is well in Hanalei! We had the first taco and chicken wrap. The taco was very, very average with overcooked fish and flavorless sauce. I would not order it again. The wrap was stuffed and a much better choice.... More

We stopped here for lunch on Friday May 5th,2017 while visiting Hanalei, our service was okay, our order wasn't right but we didn't say anything, we were on vacation and not much bothered us. I ended up getting angry a few hours after we left. Our order came out to $56.09, I paid with a $100.00 Birthday gift card. On... More

Aloha Tina, I'm sorry to not have received your message at the restaurant. It was not relayed. I did look up the issue and found the server and ticket involved. The amount was actually$59.06. The tip line shows "cash" Upon further investigation, the sum was correct and nothing more was added. This server is very honest and would never intentionally... More

Had the Calamari appetizer and Fish Tacos. I have had better. Didn't care for the the sauce on tacos. Kalahari was a bit tough. They have a selection of about 5 or 6 beers on tap. The service was very good and large windowless view of the mountains from just about any table.

We had the fish (Ono) and chips and it was good. Large portion of both and the fish was firm and tasty. Our server, Bill, seemed to get miffed when we didn't order any adult beverages (I guess the tip entered his mind). Anyway, from that point on we had to go seek service from others. Hmm.

The only reason it's not a 1 star is due to fact the sushi was really nice that's where it begins and ends. My sister got fish and chips and the chips were freezing cold. When we mentioned to the waiter he seemed pissed off at us but said he would bring more. Then mums pasta came out cold. Feeling... More

It was a Friday night at 7:45 when we arrived. They had one hostess, one server and we think one person in the kitchen. We waited 45 minutes from the time we ordered to get our food. Our server was friendly and apologized but that's a long time to wait. The food was good so at least it was worth... More

Tonight was our first time dining at Bouchons and our dinners, wine, and service were all excellent! We shall return soon! There was a large selection to choose from on their menu and the serving sizes were generous. He had the Yellowtail as an appetizer and the Ono and Shrimp for his entree. I had the Mahi filet crusted in... More

Our relaxed and spacious second story, open-air restaurant has a great ambiance and best picture taking views of Hanalei's mountains and waterfalls. Visitors and locals come time and time again for Bouchon's Pacific-American menu that's filled with a great selection of fresh homemade pupus, local caught seafood, teriyaki chicken, ribs and a premier sushi bar second to none. The famous Copper Bar serves up everything from soft drinks to Saki, including our very popular Mai-Tai. Located in the heart of Hanalei, we have the perfect gathering place to enjoy with family and friends.
