Had shave ice from another place the night before and thought it was sooooo good so the next day we decided to try Hee Fat's shave ice and WOW! So much better than the other place! So good! I'm sad we tried it on our last day here instead of our first...

Great flavors. Nice size. Same (fairly expensive) price as other places. Nice folks. Only down side is that it is fairly popular and they have only one shave ice machine, so it can take a bit of time. We loved the ices with Mac Nut ice cream in the middle!

Best shave ice I have ever had. Growing up in Hawaii i ate a lot of shave ice. These guys make the syrup from fresh fruit, wow it is so good. You get such a generous portion it could almost be a meal. You won't be disappointed.

Stop by for the wildest shaved ice treat u ever had . Every flavor under the sun and then their famous sno-cap they invented. Always a line there but they move fast and are very friendly. Even if they are about 5 bucks they are worth it. Two can share this mountain of shaved ice. They have natural favors as... More

A stop at Hee Fat (two owners last names) for shaved ice turned into a very cool experience (pun snuck up on me). We were wowed; chose the natural syrups-pineapple, coconut, and strawberry-super flavorful! It is very fluffy and the portion is so large it could easily suffice for 2 people. We chatted with the person making the treat, who... More

Try shaved ice while in Kauai - but make sure you taste Hee Fats. Syrups are home made. Have it served over macadamia nut ice cream. Don't be afraid of the size - the dessert is actually light and so delicious.

The shaved ice with custom flavors and macadamia nut ice cream was REALLY good. The hot dog with Passion fruit mustard is so good you'll buy the Passion Fruit Mustard as a souvenir along with the Macadamia Nut Honey Coconut Peanut Butter to take home to your friends - it tastes so much better than a t-shirt.

Also a good place to get some souvenirs and T shirts in the Kapaa area. Friendly staff. Get the Lava Flow shave ice - you will not be disappointed!

For the most part, shave ice is shave ice. Fake syrups with bright colors are the norm in Hawaii. However, Hee Fat serves optional REAL FRUIT JUICES on their Shave Ice and the result is FANTASTIC… but ONLY if the person making it puts enough on it…. the first one we had made by a very cool Kane was absolutely...
