Great Happy Hour and the Mai Tai's are quite good. The food is very good. I loved the pork chop and those sticky ribs deelish! My husband had a pasta dish and we both took home leftovers.

We stopped here for a drink and ended up having dinner as well. Their happy hour mid day meal menu was very good. The Korean Shrimp was amazing and my husband enjoyed the ribs. Good service and nice open air restaurant. We would definitely go...back again.More
We loved our meals & experiences. Our wait staff all were terrific, as were all the other folks operating the place. All is good, and their Caesar salad is great! A big hit, highly recommend.
We love the Bistro. Always a must stop, we have not been to the island in 4 years, and made the Bistro our last dinner on Friday night. It was as good as ever, best meal of the week. Start off with good Mai Tais,...had a mix of pork, beef and fish - all 3 outstanding. Great sides and sauces and desserts to finish up a great mealMore
Disappointing! The trip advisor menu is very out of date. There is no coconut shrimp or many of the other items listed. Drinks are weak and unimaginative.
I had the mahi in a macadamia nut cream sauce. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Since it’s in Wailea, it wasn’t crowded. That’s a big plus cos it’s crazy busy everywhere else around here. The server was very attentive, helpful...and friendly. Prices seemed about what you’d expect i this area. I highly recommend The Bistro.More
Great food in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Our large party got great seating and service. Every meal was well prepared and fabulous! Finest dinner ewe experienced on the North Shore!
Had a fabulous business dinner with a wo-worker for dinner. The fish rockets and goat cheese were amazing. The gumbo, chicken and shrimp dishes were well seasoned and portioned. Great stop if in/around Kilauea. Recommend reservations 1-2 days in advance.
Good food and portions at a reasonable, for Hawaii, prices. We split a Caesar salad, my wife had fettuccine Alfredo and I had the fried chicken thighs. We’ll be going back during our stay!
Had a business dinner with 7 people. The ambiance was casual and service, attentive. The food in quality, seasoning and flavor were fabulous. Would return if/when back in the area
Not much special to write about - just a decent meal at a reasonable price. They look to be short staffed, as many of the tables were empty even though customers were waiting to get in.
Comfortable atmosphere; just what you would expect at a "bistro" in Paris or another European city. Our group of seven liked the fish rockets and prosciutto and goat cheese appetizers. Well-liked entrees included: Asian shrimp, pork chop, blackened fish of the day. Seafood gumbo was...good, but not distinctive. Special dessert of the day - grasshopper pie - was delicious and a special treat. Nice wine list. Creative cocktails. Our server, Tara, attended to the group in excellent fashion. Reservations seem necessary.More
Lovely atmosphere, good service, good food for our family of 6. Would recommend getting reservations as we did.
Upon entering the Bistro, the Sign at the entrance lists the words that define the values of Aloha. 'A'ole or None of these values were demonstrated while dining at the Bistro. It's been five years since I walked thru the Bistro's doors. I admit that...I was excited to take a friend of mine visiting from 'O'ahu and mentioned to her that before moving to another town I would eat here several times a month. Well to my surprise the menu was the same but our server was lacking Aloha or common service skills that you would expect while working in the Hospitality Industry. Appetizer/Salad/Drink order placed and we waited a while for each item to be brought out to the table. Server did not check on us and No one seemed to ask if we needed condiments (Pepper usually offered with Caesar Salad) Drink orders were also missed. Shrimp overcooked literally burnt and my food looked like my toddler made it so I was very disappointed and ashamed to say the least. Please teach your staff how to treat people with ALOHA! I am hoping someone reads this and will provide a refresher on what the sign (Aloha) at the entrance of The Bistro really means. Mahalo!More
This was our first time in. It's great that they take reservations and it's a very clean and comfortable restaurant. Nice decor, really good food, great service, and allows a quiet and relaxing dinner.
