Koloa Fish market is both an institution for locals and for tourists in the know. Lining up inside and out the door, he staff inside have it down to move everybody out happy with the freshest and tastiest items on the board and in the large refrigerator case. We are met with happy and efficient staff, ready to move on... More

A few years ago we bought poke here, and it was delicious. This time we were looking for some fish to BBQ. We wanted something different from ahi or mahimahi, and were told which was good, how much we should buy, and they suggested their marinade. The fish turned out perfectly. They were very helpful...great for tourists like us who... More

It's easy to drive by this place in downtown Koloa but don't. It's small and local, they have exceptionally great Poke and us locals gobble it up. They have fresh fish etc but every time I go I get the poke - it's fresh and tasty!

We had lunch to go here today..the wasabi poke, the avocado poke and the ocean salad were our choices..the pokes were both impeccably fresh and richly flavorful. The Ocean salad was the best seaweed salad I've ever had..super green, clean and fresh..I'd eat here every day if I could..

If you like seafood you have to stop here for lunch. There's no words to describe how great the poker bowls are. The service was fantastic too. She let us try different things and recommended what we should get. Coming from land locked Winnipeg we were a bit overwhelmed and excited at what we were seeing. The avocado cream poke... More

Three 30-somethings from Chicago/DC on my trip. Small deli-type store with make your own combo of poke plus other assorted things. We grabbed a bunch of stuff and took it to eat elsewhere. There are no tables here. Food was awesome. Service was great. We meant to go back for more another day but there are so many places to... More

If you have ever seen Seinfeld this place is the Kauai version of the Soup Nazi. They move the customers in and out at a lightning pace. Don't be discouraged if the line is out the door because it will move quickly. They always have fresh plate lunches that are by far my favorite on Kauai.

Lots of wonderful poke on Kauai - even at Foodland! Still must say our favorite is Koloa Fish Market! Korean poke is such a great lunch and well-priced too! Always go multiple times when near Poipu and Southern Kauai. Have spread the work among family and friends and everyone loves it!
