Dukes is worth a visit for the location alone. It's absolutely beautiful. Situated between a lush tropical waterfall and a gorgeous bay, you can't best the views. And although the food is delicious, it over priced. I mean , a meager salad bar is $18?...More

Great food, cocktails, and view of the beach. The pina is heaven in a hollowed-out pineapple. Get it.

Duke's is more a tourist trap than a great restaurant, but go anyway. Enjoy the drinks and the interesting stuff on the walls, etc. The ribs are good. The Huli Huli Chicken is basically a grilled chicken breast. I could have done it better and...More

Someone told us about the Hula Pie at Dukes, so we went. The Pie, is a big wedge of macadamia nut ice cream, with an Oreo crust covered in hot fudge sauce, whip cream and toasted macadamia nuts! It will take both of you to...More

Island casual for the most part. Some people dressed up a little ( dress shorts and collared shirt) but not fancy dress by any means.

Description
On the sand at Kalapaki Beach, Duke’s is dedicated to legendary surfer Duke Kahanamoku, Hawaii’s Ambassador of Aloha. The restaurant’s open-air design offers stunning, sweeping ocean views while the 30 foot waterfall plunges into a koi pond below that meanders through the tables. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, romantic dinner, or tropical cocktail in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
