Fun little counter spot that is the front for what seems like a larger fish distributor. Had fresh caught Ono fish and chips; terrific! Light batter, think firm fish pieces, piping hot! Ordered inside, sat outside. NOTHING fancy, but the fish was just top rate.

We found the food on Maui let us down quite often, despite visiting some of the most recommended and favourite places. At best, we found the food to be average. That wasn't the case at Eskimo Candy! Highly recommend trying the seafood chowder which was recommended to us by a local as we first walked in the door. The price... More

The seafood poke bowl is awesome. Thumbs up. The Ahi is the best, Shushi grade, although is more pricey, but worth it. In order to avoid wait time, and easier to find a seat, better be there during non meals hours. Also, be aware that they only open Monday to Friday, if arrive after six, the chance of getting the... Wife and I went to EC on two separate occasions. The first we ordered some traditional fish and chips baskets and the food was fresh and adequate. Took it back to our condo and were happy enough to try it again. On our second visit we arrived just BEFORE closing time and they said the stove was already off and... More

Fun little poke place with a few tables - line-ups get big early. The poke itself was a huge portion - and came with 3 different varieties of poke. Nice caesar salads as well. We waited quite a while as the lady preparing the poke really took her time, but it came out looking like a work of art when... More

Went to Eskimo Candy after seeking recommendations on fresh fish from locals a few years ago. They sell fresh catch from one counter and prepared food from another. There's not a lot of seating (it's inside and outside) and parking can be challenging, but it's worth it. Great service. Really nice food, from the glorious poke bowls (multiple kinds, generous... We were so happy to have discovered this place! It was so good we came back a second day while on our honeymoon. Small restaurant with some outside seating. Poke was to die for!!
