Well, this place does have nice staff, but it ends there. Breakfast quiche? Originally frozen and still cold in the middle. Soggy and I know it wasn't just me, other reviewers at other websites said the same thing. Also, diners at the other table had the same problem. Other options included granola and banana bread. By the way, no bathrooms.... More

Great place to pop in with friends. Enjoy the service, food and the coffee! It's a nice break from all the shaved ice places! And a break from exploring.

This place is run by some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life. They really care about their customers and are incredibly sincere. I'll be back, and thanks for the amazing hospitality! Side note: I hate using those portable washrooms, but I have to say. This place had the cleanest portable washrooms I've ever been in.. ever... More

Great place to stop, stretch your legs and have either a snack or food before continuing down the volcano. Their food looked delicious, however, we had just started our decent down the volcano so we opted for their ginger cookies. Not something I would normally order but my spouse got them as well as the chocolate chip cookies. The ginger... More

This was the 1st place we saw to eat on our way back. The food was good, but children may not find what they want.

Perfect place to stop on your way down from the summit of Haleakala. Great prices and great food. Casual atmosphere. Lots of covered seating. They have breakfast and lunch items. Interesting, Hawaiian inspired menu items. My 10 yr old twins really enjoyed the Maui BBQ pork quesadilla. Green tortilla, stuffed with tender roasted pork. It was a large portion. They... More

This is a great little find on the road to/from the summit. On our way up, we looked for a place that was in our guidebook, but had no luck (I'd recommend bringing food up with you). On the way down, we were extremely hungry, and were attracted to this place by the activity, more than the small sign. We... More

A nice simple place to stop to get some Lavender Tea. Be warned that it may take some time for them to make the tea. (It took about 25 minutes) I think someone had to go pick the Lavender. While we didn't get any food, I will say that all of the food looked excellent. Next time I get up... More

We pass by Higher Ground Cafe on our way back down from the summit, and we stopped here for lunch. I got the biker wrap and it was awesome. Hubby got the burger and it was yummy. They got some good food here. I also grabbed a joy bar and this chocolate ball (made with almond milk, cocoa, and other... More
