I was recently during the Hawaiian Islands on a cruise. While in Maui, myself and two other girlfriends stopped for lunch at Kimo's Restaurant. We were looking for a restaurant with a view and boy did we get it here. We ordered the fish tacos....More

Cool breezes, sail boats in harbor, in Front St in Old Lahaina and best of all wonderful drinks! Very large bar area great for refuge from crowds shopping on Front St. The Ocean Vodka gimlet, grog were refreshing and excellent!

The food is good here, and the staff are very friendly. You just need to book in advance. Good food for the kids too. It's a bit hot though, there's no AC just ceiling fans

Delicious, delicious, delicious! If you can plan ahead (unlike we did), call ahead for reservations and get a table with a view of the ocean. We stopped by here on the recommendation from one of the docents at the Art Galleries in town and we...More

A visit to Maui is not complete without a fabulous sunset dinner at Kimos. Our family has been dining here for more than 30 years. Their island fish entrees are amazing with several unique ways they are prepared. A bottle of Prisoner cabernet, a teriyaki...More

Front Street is busy! Hard to find a place to park but parked in a lot on Dickenson Street nearby. I booked a reservation at Kimo's through Open Table and waited just about 10 minutes. The waiter knew his menu and was helpful with making...More

When my closest friends come to Maui we always go to Kimo's for lobster. It was especially good this time! Not an inexpensive meal but worth the splurge! Highly recommended!

We started in the bar to great music and cocktails, and then moved into the restaurant where Coral took awesome care of us. The only reason we've not given 5 Stars is that my wife's fish was slightly over cooked, but apart from that I'd...More

Great service, really good mai tais, ocean front view is great, food was very good! We didn't have to wait to be seated (even with it being a holiday weekend) and food was out quickly. Overall an A++!

They definitely have a Happy Hour in the late afternoon (I think that 3PM to 5PM sounds correct) but, also think that there might be another one around the lunch hour - I'm betting that a quick call to the restaurant will... More

Description
Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.
