Great location on the water with excellent service. We had about a 45 minute wait so we enjoyed a mai tai at the bar, which proved to be a great choice. Once seated at a perfect table for 2 overlooking the water, we tried the tuna appetizer - which is a MUST HAVE if you enjoy sushi. We had perfectly... More

We had dinner at Kimo's four years ago on our last visit to the island. This year our group of 14 got a reservation for christmas eve dinner. I have to credit the restaurant and staff for even getting us a table. The bartender told me a busy night for KImos is 500 customers. On the night of our reservation... More

This is one of my favorite lunch stops because the lounge/bar area sits right on the water, they have ice cold draft beer, wonderful fish sandwiches and killer Hula Pie. We visit several times every year while in Lahaina.

Good food and nice views of ocean. Food was good but not spectacular. Liked the atmosphere but was a little underwhelmed

Enjoyed my meal and the ambience of the restaurant. The fish was fresh and service was excellent. If you want a great fish meal then give this place a try. Not the best fish I ever had but not bad. I would go back. I had the sea bass.

I wrote an almost identical review a year ago, and I'm glad to say that -- upon return this trip -- Kimo's didn't disappoint. Reasonably priced drinks (good pour and nice wines) and very, very good pupus. We had the decadent pulled pork cheese fries with pickled red onions and seasoning that elevated this from unhealthy bar food to something... More

Couldn't ask for a better restaurant to spend our last night of our honeymoon in maui. Kimos gave us a great table when we told them we were on our honeymoon, although, truth be told, any table would have a great view! Fresh fish & bold flavors compare well with other restaurants in maui, so we were very happy with... More

Midway through our vacation we went to Kimo's. Service was excellent considering they were very busy. Everyone else's dinner was good (fish & chicken) but mine wasn't. I opted for prime rib which was the worst I've ever had. Chewy, fatty full of gristle. I ate 1/4 of it and tired having to remove pieces from my mouth. I took... More

Outstanding Meal with a great view. All part of the 'Dukes' chain. I've never had a bad meal there and this goes for 2 islands. Don't forget the Hula Pie!

Wonderful location in Lahina. I shared a panini with a side salad, it was delicious. One of my table mates had the pineapple burger and said it was the best burger he had ever had. Reasonable price for Hawaii.

Description
Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.
