When I traveled to Moloka'i, several people mentioned to eat at Mana'e Goods & Grindz. Clearly, it's the only place to eat for miles on the east side of the island, but even if it were surrounded by 100 other restaurants, I'd still stop to eat here! Pulling up, it's a pretty un-assuming place (as most of Moloka'i is), but... More

If you're spending part of your day in East Molokai, be sure to stop here for a meal...or two! We headed out early from Kaunanakai and stopped here for breakfast, then stopped here for a late lunch on our way back from Halawa Valley and swimming. Great place to stop for a meal, grab a snack and people watch. No... More

It's hard to find decent food on Molokai. Mana'e was crowded with locals & a few visitors waiting patiently for 20-30 minutes to get their orders. It's pretty much a take-out place as outdoor seating is very limited. Like other reviews mentioned, the Acai bowl is very good. Due to limited food options in Kalaupapa, I drove about 14 miles... We stopped here for an acai bowl. Many people came to order food and seemed satisfied. The acai bowl was very good.

After a morning at the beach we stopped at Mana'e for lunch. We'd been to the attached store several times but this was our first chance to try the food counter. We were very pleased with the food. Another diner had ordered the Hurricane fries and, after seeing his order delivered, I decided I needed to try them. By far... More

This really looks like a hole in the wall, but it is popular! We ordered and sat at a picnic table watching as many local residents picked up their phone orders. We took our teriyaki chicken plate lunch and mushroom burger to a beach down the road and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Best place to eat on the island. Burgers are outstanding, made on the premises, bun toasted. Had a katsu burger and got a meal on a bun-katsu chicken sliced and piled high. Breakfast was equally delicious. Store is a great convenience and fairly priced. If you stay on the east end of Molokai, this is an alternative to the trek... More

Wish I'd known about this store earlier. They have lots of goods that are locally produced, including frozen beef from the Molokai cattlemen's assn. The snack bar is excellent! It's separate from the market, a walk-up with outside seating. I had a mahi burger, which was moist and perfectly cooked, and my husband got the loco moco, kind of a... More

Great little place to get your munch on and an interesting variety of island fare and usual munchies. The Hurricane fries are a must what a great idea and taste. Will be adapting this recipe into a special treat at home.
