Me and my girlfriend went here for dinner, place was a bit crowded, wait time was around 10 min, which wasn't a problem. we really enjoyed the different combo plates available. I had kalbi, shrimp tempura and bbq chicken which was all very well made. and my girlfriend had mochiko chicken, mandoo, and meat jun. all of the food was... More

Visited this strip - mall restruant to taste the food prior to catering an event. My colleague has the BBQ chicken and Meat jun combo while I had the BBQ chicken and vegetable tempura. The plates contained a lot of food, which in the part was delicious. I wasn't too impressed by the sides, but I wouldn't count that as... More

When I get off the plane from the mainland, the first place I always go to is Shiro's for saimin, but this time I decided upon Kim Chee 7 for bulgogi takeout instead. Most of the tables were taken and it took about 15 minutes to get my meal. By the time I got home about 10 minutes later, the... More

Good selection and their meat jun is great. The service is decent but it is more than offset by the huge portions. Most can not finish and take home the left overs. The pricing is good considering the quantity and quality of the food.

From an industry worker's perspective: fast, attentive, kind and courteous service. From an eater's perspective: thicker cuts of well marinated meats, very generous portions. Definitely will be back! and they just added the spicy korean rice cake!

I would say their food is tailored with the local taste in mind. It's Korean, but not really authentic Korean because they don't offer the same dishes as the authentic Korean restaurants around. Their big bone kal-bi is good and probably one of the better kal-bi that I've eaten.

My wife and I live in Aiea and the Kim Chee 7 restaurant is a regular dinner stop for us. The food is tasty and the portions generous. We typically order the "Mixed Plate Special B" which includes Kal Bi, Meat Jun, BBQ chicken and Man Doo. Kim Chee (refills upon request), soup and rice are served with every meal.... More

We drove from Waianae to Pearl City just to eat here! The "Special for Two" fed my husband, myself and our two young children. Love the Kalbi! My kids love the BBQ and Katsu chicken. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

I've eaten in at this restaurant and taken out. The name is actually Kim Chee #7. They've got an extensive Korean menu and tend to give big portions, although you'll find that the price per entrée is higher than the places that give smaller portions. I really like their meat jun. In fact, it's now my favorite. Very tasty. I... More
