Shave ice is shave ice. Really the differences are subtle. I wouldn’t waste your time in line at any of them. You can go to any of them to have an experience which is ok

The service person was friendly but slow. So slow that a family cancelled their order due to the wait time. She had no problem refunding their money. If you happen to go to matusmotos for shave ice and mistime it by being in line after a tour bus offloads, your wait at matsumotos would be even longer than at san lorenzo's. The shive ice itself was delicious

The shave ice was fine but the service was not great. Two girls working the counter seemed more interested in their personal conversation than they were at serving us. Also, if you want two flavors in the same dish (it's very common with shave ice to get up to three flavors) there is an extra charge. It's not much money but the competition doesn't have the same policy and coupled with the poor service we'd only return if they were the only place open.

Stopped by San Lorenzo shave ice in the late afternoon. Shave ice was delicious and staff very friendly.

Parked my car at the McDonald's next door, bought food there and my friends went to the bathroom, i walked next door and bang the car is towed. $175 dollars later, scam. Please be aware esp as tourist as i was.

The person serving us didn't pay attention to what we ordered and then tried to convince us she was doing it right. Then, they tried to tow our car from their parking lot, after being parked there for about 5 minutes. Sleezy operation here. I recommend you not go here, there are better, ethical businesses down the street.

DON’T GO THERE!! It is a front for a scam tow away business. Response Parking Management Ph 8085947255. We parked our rental car in the car park to buy two of the shaved ice. My husband decided to buy a burger across the road. My daughter and I stood outside eating our shaved ice and our rental car was towed away. The girl in the shop played very dumb blaming the management of the building. But she had a handy pile of cards for the towing company to give to us. We rang them and were told to call an Uber. Which we did.It cost us $20, the Uber driver asked us if the address was an Air B&B because he had already drop someone there today! The area was very dodgy and the house was gated with a woman sitting out the front. She demanded $175 before we could get our car back. As we drove out the tow truck was bringing in another poor tourists car. We are disgusted that The San Lorenzo Bikini shop and the Malia Shaved Ice shop would prey on their own customers with this scam. SHAME ON YOU!! You are nothing but THIEVES & LOWLIFE SCAM ARTISTS

Seems this store is a front for a scam which involves towing customers’ cars if they dare to wander more than a couple of yards from the shop front while eating their overpriced, below-average shaved ice. We took our kids next door to the restroom and returned to find out rental car hooked up to a tow truck. We were just in time to get it back before it was towed but judging by the reviews below many other visitors are not so lucky.

After seeing huge line for Matsumoto’s, decided to check this out only to find it’s cash only. We had no cash so we walked over to wait in the line next door. We returned to no car, as others have experienced. $190 later plus cost of Uber to Wahiawa. Karma is a you know what. This island is a strongly spiritual place and it’s just not okay to treat people that way. If you want more business, this is definitely not the way to do it. Shame on you!

The name has changed to "Malia's" but apparently it may not last. The prices are too high and the flavors too syrupy sweet & boring. Taste the real Shave ice with great flavor at Masumotos! Waiting in line there and talking story with people is the Aloha style...relax!

You can wait in line and buy a not so great shaved ice and a $200 bathing suit from San Lorenzo next door. Just dont walk to the bathroom. They will have you towed in a heartbeat. Signs are posted. They watch and check, then play the "I don't know" card. Now your price doubles and the tow yard is 10 miles away in Wahiawa -- in a sketchy vancant lot! Our Uber driver said it's a big scam in the city. All the locals know, the tourists do not. Be careful where you park.

Went to this store as there was no line. Long wait for disappointing shaved ice. Decided to walk next door eating our ice and got chatting to lovely lady in that store. Came back no more than 20mins later and the owners of San Lorenzo had had our car towed!!
Turns out they’re in on it with the tow company so will call as soon as you leave the store. And have done this to multiple tourists who park there!
Rubbish customer service just looking to prey on innocent tourists who happen to park in their empty lot. SO NOT WORTH IT!
Save your money and go support some real nice Hawaiians not these jerks.
And if u do for some reason choose to stop here don’t you dare think u can walk next door with your shaved ice! Apparently that no longer makes you a customer.
Will tell everyone I know to NOT stop here.

We were served huge chunks of ice, not what we expected. And the flavor wasn't good. Also, the service wasn't good - the workers didn't seem to care to be working.

It was rather a put off that we were the only ones at San Lorenzo's however our party of 5 had to wait rather a long time to receive our shaved ice.
The garbage can in front was overflowing causing a large amount of bees to be swarming around it.
They did not have natural flavors to choose from. I found what they had to be overpoweringly sweet...I am not a fan of overly sweet desserts however my guests enjoyed theirs well enough.
This is an option if you want shaved ice in the area and do not want to wait in the excessively long lines at the place a block up the street.

Have a very large selection of shave ice combinations which were good though a little pricey. Qucikly ordered, waited much longer for them to be prepared.
