Good garlic shrimp with garlic rice. Large serving. Lots of other foodtrucks to choose from too (my daughter chose French crepes). Good location in Haleiwa.

After going to Mackys for over 10 years and it's currently closed we decided to come back and give it another try. It actually is better than I remember it was. We had the Scampi shrimp. It was 14$ which isn't bad for 12 large shrimp. Plenty of garlic and well flavored. Of Mackys doesn't reopen I will continue to... More

Firstly, note that this really does look like a dodgy food truck, because the whole truck is decorated by graffiti - although that is one of the novelties of the truck. They provide permanent markers for you to sign and graffiti the truck however and wherever you want! Secondly, if you order their signature dish (the garlic scampi), you WILL... More

We got the Scamp and it was delicious!!! Heavy with garlic but enjoyed. Must stop if you are going to the North Shore.

Its like shrimp and garlic with a good portion of good times. Get your fingers dirty and experience one of the best food truck on the island. Mac salad is crazy good too.

Get ready for grabbing a picnic table and trying to avoid the (probably feral) dogs roaming around...this is a great enclave of food trucks! You can choose from java, smoothies, suasages, etc. at the various stands, but I absolutely LOVED the shrimp scampi at Giovanni's Shrimp Truck. There are two locations and I was up at the North Shore stop,... More

The shrimp was delicious. We got the garlic and lemon and could not fault it. The service was quick even though they were busy and the children enjoyed chasing the chickens around when they finished eating.

This review is item specific. If you like hot and spicy food you got to try the hot and spicy shrimp. This isnt for someone who likes mild or medium heat. This is for the person who likes to sweat. The person who enjoys the torture of a mouth full of fire! You must try it. But remember this plate... More

You can smell the garlic when you get out of your car. The line to order doesn't look long, but there's quite a wait for your shrimp (about 30 minutes.) Very tasty and very messy!
