We were headed to BOS very early in the morning and did a quick search for an open diner to grab breakfast and came across this place. This is the true american diner and what a great find! We had the Irish Corned beef hash special and it was fantastic. I wish this place was in my hometown. The waitress... More

Our first time here and loved it! Small inside, so you might have to wait a few.........Lots of irish faces......nice people.......great menu with wicked cheap prices. Homemade corned beef hash, and irish soda bread toast! Definately worth the wait! Delisious breakfast!

My husband and I visited Wheelhouse Diner for breakfast. This tiny breakfast counter (with a few booths!) is a throwback in time. The waitresses are very pleasant, and the service is great. There is often a short wait in the morning, especially on the weekends. Food is great. Especially the hashbrowns and the Irish soda bread toast! Prices are awesome.... More

The Wheelhouse Diner used to be a staple go-to spot for breakfast starting at 5am when Doug was the chef, but since then it has changed multiple management hands trying to make it better and it has gotten worse. The food has gone down hill but the prices have gone up and the service is not great.

We've only ever sat and the counter, and I'm not sure we'd want to be anywhere else. You get to see all the action and the waitresses have quite the fun banter that you can partake in, or more likely just take in while waiting for your order. That place is a well oiled machine, that isn't to say greasy,... More

We ordered an Irish Breakfast and it was amazing. First of all the food was fresh. We watched it being made in front of us. There was also 3 different sausages and two types of ham, along with tomatoes, eggs, potatoes and toast. The best part was the people. They were so friendly and funny. It was the highlight of... I've eaten here quite a few times. It's a great spot to meet a friend for breakfast. It's small and very popular. I think I've had to wait in line every time I've come here. The food is good and prices are reasonable.

thought I'd try out the place on my way to a workshop, I'm here from out of town. Sat down at a booth and waited at least 10 min (3 empty booths) only to be told I would have to sit at the counter since I was a single. I explained I had a bad back and needed a booth... More
