If you are in the mood for fried clams, or any fried seafood for that matter, The Clam Box is definitely someplace that you should consider visiting. They have been an institution in Quincy for decades, and they know how to do it right (a.k.a. delicious). It's not cheap, and the tables aren't fancy, but the food will be just... More

Everybody talks about Tony's as being the best... NOT SO FAST MY FRIENDS! The Clambox has some of the freshest seafood right here in Quincy, and their fish n chips meal was to die for, and was enough for two! The staff is quick, efficient, and experienced! We will be back when they open in the spring for sure!

We live in Quincy, and each spring my son eagerly awaits the date Clam Box reopens! Big portions, don't miss the fried clams! Excellent "kids meal" prices, and lots of options for those not so keen on sea food. We love their onion rings, fried fish, clams, sea food platter, and clam chowder. Several beer & wine choices for adults,... More

My husband & I used to go to the Clam Box a few years ago. New owners took over and it has gone down hill in quality of food. It is a shame that it has changed. Go to Tony's Clams

A fellow employee recommended to try the Clam Box as we were driving north. Pleasantly surprised. Food was awesome. Would highly recommend.

I don't think the Clam Box needs another good review. They have enough. Avoid Tony's they have a poor customer attitude.

Every Summer, for at least the past 3 years, I have to go to the Clam Box at least once. The Seafood platter (no clam bellies for me) with fries and/or salad is a must. Sometimes I even ask for corn on the cob. I think they should look into sprucing up the interior's decor but always seat outdoors across... More
