Upon arrival I was welcomed by the smell of urine. To make it worse I then ate the food, which was about as bland as my sense of humour after the experience. Top tip, get the patty melt. It’s awful.

This little cafe is a short walk from the bustle of Fisherman's Wharf but much more serene. Our breakfasts were excellent. Spinach omelets with feta cheese with potatoes and toast. Art on the walls, comfortable tables and friendly staff. We ate here several times during...More

We had visited here a few times and were very happy with the place until one time a server had a meltdown when she was mildly busy and used profanity towards us when we asked where our meal was. Still leaving an additional dot because...More

We came to eat for breakfast and the food was delicious! Nice place inside it felt as if I were home eating a home cooked meal. The service was a 4 out of 5 but overall everyone seemed nice.

Stopped at Pat’s mostly because it was convenient (at the end of the cable car route). We were pleasantly surprised by the quality. Had a late breakfast complete with a very tasty Bloody Mary. Shrimp and crab omelettes were quite good and the prices were...More

A little hard to find. Small entryway. But once inside and get your food - fantastic. The french toast is sourdough bread with a crispy outside. The eggs were fluffy. The hot coco was delicious. We would definitely visit here again.

Seated rather quickly but then didn’t receive menus, water or anything after we were seated. Waited 15 minutes & my husband got us menus himself out of the slot they were in. Waited another 10 minutes before they asked if we wanted coffee & if...More

We stopped here for a breakfast as we were staying at a nearby hotel and wanted to get an early start riding the Cable car, which runs right passed the front door. Nice location, it is small but cozy and the service was good. We...More

My wife and I enjoyed a great breakfast at Pat’s. The French toast and the pancake specials were delicious. Good cafe vibes and friendly service.

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.

Charming neighborhood restaurant serving AWESOME American style cooking. We are located on Taylor Street, the Mason Taylor Cable Car rolls down Taylor Street where it turns around and goes back to Union Square. Check out our web site www.PatsCafe.Com, also check our reviews on Trip Advisor and Yelp - they like us. Every evening we have a dinner special.
