We were on our way to an event at pier 15 and arrived early in the city. Bar was not crowded on a Monday night. Ordered drinks- amaretto sour and whiskey. Great customer service.

Excellent dinner and friendly service. Found this place by accident, but thoroughly recommend. Food was fresh and tasty. Pleased all including teenagers.

I stopped in here for lunch between meetings. It was delicious! The service was also great so I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again and highly recommend.

Just like unicorns, the myth and magic of this place is real. The food is super tasty and the ambiance is great. Nice to go with friends, on business or just to relax. I'll go again for sure.

I try to have a meal here when I'm in SFO. The food is creative, good and reasonably priced for what it is. The whole trout with almonds is one of my favorites.

Had lunch here and it was quite good. The dumpling soup was good and unpretentious and the oxtail was good (not the best I've had though). The person I was with had the ceviche which (was more like sashimi) and scallops which were covered in a strange mixture of very strong flavors. It was all ok but after a week... More

We came here because we were given gift certificates, since its a bit out of the way for the usual "tourist". After dozens of years of visiting the city, we thought we'd tried all Asian restaurants and were pleasantly surprised to run into this Pan Asian gem. The focus is primarily Vietnamese fresh cuisine, with other Asian influences and dishes... More

Interesting decor makes this one of the most kitschy dining establishments in the area. Black crystal chandeliers view with Chihuly inspired glass to confound the senses but once your past that the food is pretty decent. Try the horn of plenty appetizer plate but remember that it's a lot of food and may just be your main course. Favorite mains... More

My first few visits were so pleasurable. Excellent food, good service though a very noisy dining room. This time, the food was a bit over the top -- like the chef was trying to hard. I'm the ultimate doggy-bagger because I can rarely finish a meal. But didn't take home the extra because it just didn't work for me. Hopefully,... More

A lively and trendy dining area & bar make for a fun business lunch and/or early appetizers with friends... The food is well prepared, with a nice presentation. The pork chop, and steak & prawn duet entrees were quite good, but the seafood fried rice was flavorless and disappointing. Albino spring rolls, pot stickers, and candied walnut shrimp appetizers are... More

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
