The Mr. and I were in San Francisco for a long weekend over the Easter holiday. We enjoy Sunday brunch on a regular basis, so I looked at several San Francisco options for this meal. I chose Olea because of it close proximity to our hotel, its price point, and its menu. This particular morning was rainy and cold, so... More

What a great little breakfast place! Super excellent dishes and caring service. Across the street from MyMy, with a long line waiting for a seat as well, the wait here was short because the place is super efficient. Our dishes were excellent, including the chicken sausage, avocado toast, Chilaquiles with super good beans and really hot tortillas with salsa. The... More

Each of us had a different dish for brunch--and everyone was happy! Service was excellent; French press coffee was smooth; avocados were divine. Highly recommend.

We know we can always go to Olea for a great dinner and not break your bank account! Phillip the owner is always nice and helpful and if your divided on which is better. My girlfriend got a delicious pork chop and I got a great hanger steak. The appetisers are great and the desserts yummy. It's a great place... More

My friend and I were headed to MyMy across the street at around 12:30 pm on a Saturday, and were surprised that the line for MyMy was still insanely long, and there was no line for Olea! Having never been to Olea due to the crazy long line every weekend morning, we immediately changed course to the cute little restaurant.... More

All of the positive reviews that I have seen were dead on. This place is a gem. Great food and great service. Menu changes constantly due to the local ingredients and what is available. If you have your heart set on something call ahead and they will let you know what is available that day. We were waited on by... More

The French Toast! As good as they said it would be. My wife had it and I had to steal some... :) I had the huevos rancheros which were also good... but not as noteworthy as the toasts... only thing I should mention is that the Bloody Mary with Sriracha is an acquired taste... not mine unfortunately... but I am... We visited this restaurant for dinner whilst staying in the Nob Hill area. There weren't many choices to choose from on the menu but both of the main meals we had (the duck pasta and the Salmon) were very good. Definitely worth a visit.

Great little spot, it's tiny and has a homey feel. They have a nice menu and I think the best way to describe it is California Cuisine. Lots of fresh and local ingredients. I went with the Avocado BLT on fresh wheat bread everything tasted wonderful. This was a great find.

We walked up here in super windy weather, so make sure to bring a jacket! We had the shrimp tortellini for entree, luckily we split it, coz it's tasted kinda fishy, but maybe it's just us... The main (lamb and duck) are Amazing!! We will for sure come back for those main, but with only a couple of days to... More

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
