We have been here several times to see blues and jazz bands. It is below street level, which gives it a cool "on the down-low" vibe. The bartender Shawn is always friendly and on top of things. They book a lot of talented musicians that are worth checking out. They serve dinner but we have not eaten there so I... More

We were pleasantly surprised to find a live music venue in central SF. The night we visited Bay City Blues with Chris Cain were the live act. Very good solid musicianship. We opted for a with food ticket, Service was quick and good. Food was good without being startling. Very comfortable venue and not too bad prices for drinks.

This cozy tea room features authentic preparation of a wide selection of black, green and herbal teas. The tattooed owner visits the tea gardens of Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia and Sri Lanka every year, assuring that the teas, largely organic, and grown in ways respectful of the workers and the environment. Great music, we saw the fantastic Lavay Smith, great atmosphere, the place was full on a Saturday night. The food is good and the service is just fine. As others have said the food and drinks are pricey, but it's what you'd pay in a good music club anywhere. Forget what you pay and enjoy the music and revel in... More

Great Blues night! Nice band, good southern food. Jambalaya and BBQ ribs were excellent. Service was a bit slow but the place was fully packed and the music was good so we could wait. Highly recommended. Just $22 for the show was definitely reasonable. You need to book it ahead.

We went to see a great Memphis blues band, Ghost Town Blues Band on September 30th at this very nice venue and were pleasantly surprised by the great meal we received prior. We arrived early and got great seats. We ordered cocktails and dinner. The roasted chicken with red potato mash were excellent. We ordered the spinach salad which had... More

At $15 the ticket price was fine for this fairly small, intimate setting. The musicians were good. I'm not sure that I'm enough of an expert to say how good. But we were pleased. We were also happy to go to the 7:30 show and be invited to stay for the 9:30 since it was a "light crowd" night. Food... More

I went to this restaurant during my birthday celebration in September 2016. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was very nice, and the blues artist was fantastic! Great atmosphere, food, and music!

This was our first time at this club. We were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and I had looked this place up on Trip Advisor before coming to San Francisco. We were about 15 feet from the stage, the music was incredible, the food was great, and the waitstaff was very attentive. Great southern food. Wish I had found this place... More
