Had a wonderful lunch experience, enjoyed good service along with great food & drink. Had lunch on a Thursday and it was busy but not crowded. Decor is a little dark as it was already a dark rainy day, but it’s pleasant. I tried the...More

The food at Prospect was uneven, and the service was on the rude side. Some dishes, foie gras, for example, were quite good. Others, like the halibut, were well designed but undone by being overcooked. The beet salad was one of those dishes that works...More

I've been here several times and have yet to be disappointed. Love the interiors and have always had good service. My husband and I love the lunch menu, and the dinner menu looked great, but the bar menu was even better.

The food here is what would would expect of a michelin restaurant. Inventive American in a beautiful modern room. So we were surprised that our waitress appeared to be having a bad night/didn't like us or was not happy. We were rushed through without the...More

Our waitress was not friendly and did not even bother to give us a list of specials. The food was tasty. Deviled eggs had a good flavor but the bread and hummus were the best. Beet Salad was good but small portions. Soup was thick...More

Ate here while visiting San Fran. Food and service were very good, but choices limited and you definitely will not leave the place stuffed. If you like smaller portions, and can find something that appeals to you, you will be very satisfied.

Our hotel made the reservation for us. The atmosphere was very good. The wait staff was fantastic. The cocktails were great. The menu is where it fell short for me. Very limited menu. I was not looking for a Cheesecake type menu, but I was...More

I have eaten here twice now; excellent wine list (for full bottles; by the glass could use some additions). Nice choice of appetizers and main courses

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated
vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs
and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to
find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter
for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able
to do more than just business - museums, top quality
restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call
this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized

Yes, Prospect does have private dining rooms for groups. Just go to their website and click on "Private Dining." You can just Google the restaurant's name in San Francisco.
