The food here was so delicious. The sandwiches had a lot of meat, cheese and veggies. Our absolute favorite was the smoked salmon! Great place and definitely would recommend going here!

The location is convenient to the Moscone Conference center and surrounding hotels. Laughed at the name the first time I walked by and had to try it the second- the coffee was good and the Tony Breakfast sandwich was great! It's good food with no fuss. Of note the prices on their website are likely old and not accurate to... More

This place has been here for ages and people seem to love it or hate it. Its a typical deli with the assorted sandwiches, etc., but what a lot of people don't know is that the owners and operators are Middle Eastern and the mediterannean food is quite good. Big falafels and a decent meze. If going for lunch I... More

Great food, but the owner was busy chasing people out that weren't real customers. He is happy to serve you, if you buy something, and the food is worth the stop

Deli type store convenient to hotels on 7th Street. Has a few tables and good food value. Sandwich was so large, we couldn't finish it. Might want to share.

Very friendly and no pressure. Everyone was friendly and the menu was great for breakfast. Not too expensive and Tony is a friendly guy. Coffee was excellent and sort of on the honor system. Always refills!

Stopped in here with a group for lunch. Our hotel was nearby so was convenient, however it's not in the most central location. I ordered the New York Italian, appropriate I thought, no idea was it consisted of. I was very pleased that I got this the sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. Thee best for a... More

Stayed in San Francisco for 2 nights and was told this was a good place to get breakfast. Had bagel and coffee on both mornings, great food and really good value. Friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. If I'm in the area again it's where I'll go for breakfast.

Stumbled across this little gem while out walking. Exactly what we were looking to experience while visiting San Francisco. HUGE sandwiches, fresh bread, very reasonably priced. Will definitely return when we return to San Francisco.

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
