Not exactly on the waterfront, this bakery has marvelous partries and breads. Very European in style the breads and baked goods are delicious and fresh. Many times visiting the city we bought almond croissants from a very large waterfront bakery. No longer will we do so. This is our new, go to place for breakfast croissants and breads. Not as... Love this quaint small artisan bakery, all made from scratch, prices very reasonable. Directly across from the city Sightseeing red and blue stops. Cash only, we started our day with a shot of espresso, almond croissant, chocolate muffin; my teenagers loved the ham & cheese croissant. When/if close to the wharf this is a must stop!

We enjoyed some coffee and pastries that had just been baked. If you were not seeking this place out, it would be easily missed from the road or even sidewalk. They need a sign that protrudes from the business or at the very least a sidewalk sign.

Waterfront is one of the few bakeries in San Francisco where viennoisierie get close to European standards. The Italian coffee they serve is also very good. We stayed at Argonaut Hotel nearby, and after we discovered it we went to Waterfront each morning to have our breakfast there. Highly recommended!

The smell attracted us inside and the lovely artistic baked bread loaves in the windows were so nice. Fresh baked bread, lots of different pastries and coffee. We bought some rolls and croissants. Very satisfying.

Enjoyed a lovely light breakfast of fresh pastries and good coffee made the way you want it. The cafe is small with inside and outside seating. We had a strawberry Danish and a toasted croissant - both very good and well made lattes. We will be back.

If you wake up at Fisherman's Wharf, please don't miss a breakfast here, within freshly baked pastries and the aroma of a good cappuccino flavored with cinnamon.
