I went there for a corporate party and it was very nice. Good atmosphere and nice Mexican food. A good place to go

We went to Pedro's after the NLDS play-off game, and were happy to find so many fellow Cubs fans celebrating our Big W. We salute the bartender who was wearing her Cubs t-shirt. Pedro's is right across the street (look both ways for trolleys) and the beers are cheaper than at AT&T, for sure. It's pretty cavernous. They weren't serving... More

This place is awesome. Great place to warm up before the ballgame, good selection of brews and drinks. Cant go wrong with the pork tacos.

A good spot for drinks and food before you head to the game. We stopped in and went upstairs since everything was taken downstairs. Good view and the food was adequate for 'bar' food.

The location and atmosphere are both excellent. Food was above average--we had street tacos and quesadillas. We enjoyed our time there.

This place is always crowded before a Giants game . . . But hey . . . That's part of the experience. Have fun and invite some strangers to sit with you. We have the last two times and have met some really nice people. We enjoyed a few drinks . . . Met some new people . . .... More

We were there prior to a weekend Giants Game. The restaurant was packed. Staff told us to look around for a table. We wound up sharing a table with a couple who were very gracious . Service taking orders was very slow, not enough staff to cover the crowds. Food is economical and average.

We stopped in after a Giants day game because of local advertising. The food was good, the service (Karla) was appropriate to the setting which is sports bar, night club, or youthful hangout. The ambience is loud and chaotic. This would not be the place for a quiet family dinner out. The three tacos dinner was excellent and the quesadilla... More

We went to Pedro's after a Giants game on 5-31-15. The place was packed, nobody around us had drinks or food and there were zero employees in sight. The security guard told us to seated ourselves. Never saw a waitress! We had to hunt one down, simply ordered three tacos and two ice tea's. The ice tea's never came. The... More

10 of us went at 6pm Saturday the 3rd of January before Cirque du Soleil, 6 adults, 4 kids, 6-16. The restaurant was empty. Waitress was pleasant, took our drink order (no alcohol). Then took our food order, 30 minutes later 4 dinners arrive, all COLD, it was like they took it out of the refrigerator. Waitress took them back... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
