Tired of crabs and clams I decided to visit Flying Ninja and was pleased by the results. There were quite a few options for rolls so I picked the Shrek roll (good), the Bay Scallop (baked) roll (really good) and the XXX (really good). Empty for a Tuesday night but overall a nice experience.

It is not very exciting. We got a comb entree. A lot of rice in the rolls. The spicy tuna was inedible. Ick.

Amidst many tourist oriented restaurants this sushi place is quite reasonable. We actually came back twice.

We were staying close by and were too tired to venture far from our hotel. Although very hesitant to go to a sushi restaurant in such a touristy area, we were pleasantly surprised. We visited on a Monday evening and ordered a Golden Gate Bridge roll, 2 other roll, shrimp tempura, kappa maki roll, edamame and gyoza. Service was pleasant... More

This is an average restaurant for Sushi and Asian food. It is the Fisherman Wharf tourist are, so if you have the time go out side the tourist area and look for a better place.

We were at the Fishermans Wharf and looking to get Sushi. We discovered the Flying Ninja. We had rolls and they were average. I guess if we would of ventured to Japantown, we would of got a lot better. The prices are average and the service was good. We sat outside and enjoyed the foot traffic. There's a Ben and... More

We both had ramen to help us warm up, as it was a typically damp, foggy San Francisco evening. The veggie ramen had a couple small pieces of what was either cabbage or lettuce floating around in it, and one skinny slice of preserved radish. And that's all. The seafood ramen had maybe 3 or 4 calimari rings, one mussel... More

Chicken teriyaki was the worst that we have ever had and the values sushi rolls that we tried were below average at best. Avoid this restaurant.

After having been to a sushi place at Pier 39, we stopped in here for a quick lunch and it was delicious. Possibly some of the best sushi I have ever had... Would absolutely recommend the Crispy California rolls.
