This is a very small restaurant and our group of 8 had to squeeze in. That said, the service was great, the food was incredible, and the overall experience was excellent. The seafood pot pie was wonderful. Hoping to return in the future.

This is a really nice place, it is small, so make reservations by calling them, at least for dinner. The service is very good, the wine list is different, interesting and very good selections. I had the chicken and rice. Basic meal, that was really above average. I will try the rotisserie chicken next time because the piece I had... More

La Fusión blends Japanese and Peruvian cuisine and offers a number of fresh ceviches. In addition they have other offerings from Latin America including chicharrón and empanadas. It is casual dining but presentation of food is artful and delicate. It is a little crowded as the restaurant itself is small. The wait staff was professional and attentive. Great choice for... This Restaurant is the best ever; never had a chicken this moist & crunchy on the outside at the same time. All flavours greatly balanced and a lovely waitress named Sam!

We had a great dinner last night. I ordered the rotisserie chicken and it was delicious. There was no need for a side dish but it came with a side dish and I ordered the Cassoulet - which was okay. We had the three empanda appetizer and each of them were excellent. It was a very popular restaurant and reservations... More

We absolutely loved the food! The previous reviews were spot on for this unique eatery. The Sangria was the best I've had in a long, long time (since my 2013 trip to Marbella, Spain, for that matter), and the Empanadas were scrumptious but a tad lacking in quantity. I mean, come on, give the whole thing. Indeed, the mac &... More

The food and service were great. We were glad we had a reservation on a rainy Thursday night, because when we left there were many people waiting to eat. The appetizers, ceviche and empanadas, were so good there was not enough room for the rest of the meal. The chicken had a lot of pieces of bread mixed with the... More

As a food truck owner that serves paella, I ordered it to compare and was pleasantly surprised. The seafood wasn't fresh but overall was tasty, moist, and plenty of spice flavor. The fusion meatball appetizer was unique and enough for me to return with my finicky girlfriend.

This place is highly rated on Yelp, so I had really high expectations. The place is small, and it was busy, so we didn't have a great table (right next to the door). The service is good, although it took a while for them to get around to us given the place was packed. The food is interesting… definitely fusion,... More

My husband and I ordered the mixed green salad, a baked empanada, fried yucca, and arroz con pollo. We were really full! Everything was really delicious, but I would probably skip the salad next time and go for something else. It was good and I wanted something fresh, but I should have saved room for something else that I can't... More

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
