Our clients suggested this restaurant to meet. As our Uber headed down a dark alley I wasn’t sure where we were going. We were greeted at the door and it was like a hole hidden world opened up inside. We were early so we grabbed...More

The setting of Bix is alluring... nestled in a small alley in what used to be a gold storage room with high ceilings and a balcony...you are wowed by the ambiance. The menu is eclectic but has at least one dish that will please everyone...More

My friend and I ate here this past week. We shared the potato pillows, BIX chicken bites, and the sword fish. Nice tasting food a bit on the pricey side.

Service is very good and the piano in the background was lovely. Food was good but didn’t match the service and environment.

This is a great spot for dinner! I was there for a business dinner but could definitely see why many see this as a romantic vibe, reminiscent of a supper club. Nice piano music, low lights - you may need your phone light when reading...More

Bix was recommended to us by friends who live in San Francisco as being one of their favorite places and it certainly did not disappoint. This is definitely not touristy and is rather like a step back in time when supper clubs were popular. The...More

It's the kind of place where anything goes. Lots of 'well dressed' people and 'smart but casual'. It's got a fantastic friendly atmosphere which would be great to celebrate a special occasion. Hope you enjoy it.

No dress code, but I expect to dress classy casual. I also may dress in coat and tie. For women, smart attire is good, and not "low" casual.
