Group of 6 seated and served promptly. Excellent brunch menu from fancy to simple. French toast, salads, sandwiches all great. Generous muffin basket added to the meal.

Walked in and staff where very friendly the guy serving us was amazing very helpful and friendly. Even though he was training someone new his service didn't slip and was so pleasant that I would come here again. Food was Gd too and I would recommend the rye soda bread. Thanks for a nice breakfast and also has wifi.

We sat near a window, and it was fun to watch the crowd walk to the Giants game that morning. Fresh, cozy, and simple atmosphere. The bread basket served before the food was fantastic. Good coffee. My husband enjoyed the chorizo and eggs, but my Cobb scramble looked better than it tasted. The wish I had ordered pancakes since the... More

Reservations made well in advance and confirmed by restsurant day before for party of five.We were kept waiting half hour before the server came to our table to take our orders. The restaurant was very busy with many Giants fans having brunch here.It took another 45 minutes for the food to be delivered.I asked the server to please bring the bill... Between the airport and downtown San Francisco, we kicked off our vacation by eating here, because I had seen that it had views of the water. We had a great brunch

View was awesome- it was a very sunny day. I thought the food was average. The bread basket didn't come with a muffin, which is mentioned in reviews. The Provence salad had great roasted veg. The eggs were really average. Not sure if recommend or make a return trip.

Wow this is the way Oatmeal should taste and feel like, textured not sticky. If you get it, get fruit on top. It's well worth it. This is one of the few places an easy walk from AT&T Park or waterfront to get a special breakfast--yummy muffins comes with breakfast.

This is a true 'home cooking' restaurant, with the menu always changing. Brunch on the weekend is always popular, especially as it is only a few minutes from the Giants ballpark. The service is excellent, but you might have to wait for a table, as reservations are only for 6 or more. They are also a bakery and have a... More

We try to go to Town's End restaurant for breakfast once or twice a month. We always enjoy their food and of course the staff is excellent. We always love how they bring us their fresh baked basket of goodies, scones are my favorite.

Towns End Restaurant and Bakery has been a stalwart of SOMA for 20+ years. Upon dining here, whether for an awesome outdoor weekend brunch or a romantic lunch, you will know why. With red walls, brown furniture, and linen covered tables the dining room is very attractive, although it can get quite noisy at peak hours. Be sure to pick... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighbourhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighbourhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
