I went searching for a good early breakfast, and Tlaloc didn't disappoint. The huevos chorizo was perfect, the salsa bar a nice idea, and the place pleasant. It was a little weird being the only diner there at 7AM, but hey, it was delicious so why not?

staying nearby at conference w/ minimal time for meals outside of hotel, wandered in here for breakfast and had a terrific omelet that they made custom ordered for me. Returned with a large group for lunch, and despite long lines they process orders quickly. Had an excellent chicken fajita-really fresh ingredients and well-prepared. Unfortunately this part of town (business district)... More

We met up with a dear friend from back east for lunch. Amazing tacos, lemonade, and salsas. We sat outside and enjoyed the day and great food.

This place is very popular at lunch time ! There was a long line up when we went there at 12h15 but fortunately we did not have to wait more than 10 minutes before ordering ! There is a lot of seating places either outside or on one of the three inside floors and there is a fast turnover of... More

I was in town for a business conference and tried out this place. I conveniently arrived at just the right time because as I was leaving, the line was out the door and down the block. Rightfully so. This place has delicious Mexican style food at a very decent price for what you get. They have their own farm where... More

Looking for a lunch spot on commercial; could not find the restaurant that I was looking for, so I tried this Mexican restaurant...I always like good Mexican and this restaurant seemed busy. Go indoors; order; get a number; and take a seat. During lunch hour (and maybe even in the evening) this block of Commercial Street is blocked to traffic... More

Great food and atmosphere - sadly closed for dinner and weekends - but great breakfast and lunch. Now has outside seating and great location.

Stumbled across this place by accident and really enjoyed our meal. The long queue made us think it was a good spot. We were pleased with our reasonably priced, big portions of yummy Mexican food. There was also a huge selection of dips to choose from too!

I was there during the business trip in SF and I found this restaurant with a long line. So I thought "should be good"... I tried and I really liked it Good nachos and the tacos were really tasty. They still offer different kind of sauces and the watermelon juice comes with small pieces of the fruit!

Staying in Financial District

Neighbourhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
