The place is a dive, the staff look like they could be recovering junkies, but for any NY'er in SF, this place makes heavenly pizza. It's pretty much the only authentic NY pizza place in SF for those times when you get a craving for the real thing.

Me and my friend just got two regular slices but they tasted really good. It was only $3 a slice and was ready super fast.

Someone must have had a bad night, because I simply asked for a box for a couple of slices, historically, they were kind enough to give me one with a $0.50 charge which made sense. The dude said - 'I'm not giving you a box for 2 slices', and didn't even give me change for my pizza. Sadly, I was... More

Super small shop in Mission district, selling different pizzas by slice, New York style thin crust (they had one thick crust as well:) I had classic Margherita and it was delicious!

Hole in the wall, but excellent pizza by the slice (Sicilian and Neapolitan). No frills, two small counters with stools, but worth a trip to get top-quality NY pizza. $3 slice ($3.50 sicilian). Toppings available but don't bother.

not the best looking place, but your best slice of NY style pizza, plus a punk rock soundtrack. This is my kids favorite pizza spot, cash only

This is it - if you are looking for NYC style pizza, go no where else. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Have been living in the SF Bay Area for 30 years. I used to frequently have NYC pizza FedEx'd to my house in the Bay Area. Once I found Arinell, there was no need to continue... More

One of the best New York style thin pizza places around. Been coming here a quarter century. Absolute hole in the wall gets a lot of frenetic activity late at night on weekends. Workers set the vibe with boom box blasting punk tunes while they blast through the orders reheating slices mostly. Some visitors will be hopped on various substances... More

I happened to be in the area and I am always on the hunt for top notch NYC style pizza. This place nails it, hands down. Great slice even from the pre-made pizza so I suspect the fresh whole pie is even better. Definitely will be back and I strongly recommend it for those looking for authentic NYC pizza with... More

Delicious and very much appreciated when one gets tired of the thicker-crust pizza that is the norm in California. Thin-crusted with a tangy sauce--the only SF touch is the very "SF-looking" hipsters serving it.
