This restaurant exceed expectations - the scrambles and omelettes were delicious but the reason we visited again was the homemade bread with homemade jelly. Probably the best wheat toast I've ever had. Will definitely be back next time in SF.

My husband and I arrived early - knowing a queue was likely. And we weren't wrong. Even at 8am on a Sunday expect to wait at least 30-60 mins for a table. This is mostly perpetuated by the slow table turnover. Despite the long line...More

We flew into San Francisco early on Saturday morning and on our way to the hotel we see a line around the corner of people waiting to go to Dottie's. So we figured that's where we needed to go. Dottie's is in The Tenderloin which...More

The trick is to time this right as there is generally a line. But that's a good thing... right? After all every Brit loves to queue. Visiting alone? Then you have the bonus of fast-tracking through the back door and sitting at the bar. Order...More

Walking past and smelled something great so stuck my head in. Sat down and ordered some breakfast. Happy service and food was seriously good.

There was a bit of a line and it was a week day, however it went very quick. DELICIOUS food and PLENTY of it. The location was within walking distance from out hotel and it DID NOT disappoint.

I went to this place knowing that it was on the diners, drive-ins and dives. First of all, it's in the dumpy part of SF downtown. The menu is basically a diner menu with few specials. I have to say the quality of the food...More

Has to be one of the worst customer management experiences I've had trying just to get into a restaurant. I'm a customer, not an expert but I've been to many very busy restaurants and diners over the years. I am certain that there must be...More

We decided to stop here for breakfast on a recommendation from my niece. Yummy - Pulled pork, roasted onion and jack cheese scramble and eggs and chorizo sausage! Definitely held us for a day of sightseeing in SF. Great service and food!

A nice cafe, great service and good food! I recommend this place :) A short walk fro Bart at the Square Union. Not a nice neighborhood, but you forget about that when you are inside.

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated
vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs

to do more than just business - museums, top quality
restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call
this neighbourhood home. Most of its freeway-sized

I would assume about 7a.m. If that's your goal. The area is not the greatest there are a fair amount of homeless hanging around in the area. I felt more comfortable being in a bit of a crowd and not being the only one... More
