Generous size slices of Sashimi and maki but limited menu and seating. We were really cold sitting in the restaurant too.

I love sushi zone. Every time I visit the Bay Area I plan to go there, they have fresh sashimi and delicious rolls. Not too expensive, place is small and outdated but it's a family business and that's what makes this place unique! The only thing I dislike is waiting for an hour or more to be seated, but the... I wanted sushi while on holidays in SF and decided to try this place. At the beginning I had some trouble finding it as if you go on 1815 Market St. you find another place called Destino. Next to the right (number 1817) you find another Japanese restaurant and finally, further to the right, you find Sushi Zone, which is... More

If you have no patience or hungry do not go here. It took 40 min to get the first dish after I ordered after seating. Service is horrible. I was making faces after nothing came out for the first 30 min except for the sake I ordered and the waitress had the audacity to ask if I wanted to order... More

We were on the hunt for sushi and once my friend found out that they had baked mussels, we were bound and determined to go to Sushi Zone. There are probably 8-10 seats around the sushi bar and two booths that seat 4 people. You put your name on a whiteboard and just keep coming back to check on your... More

I've been a customer of Sushi Zone for many years. I'm not sure what's taken me so long to write a review but Sushi Zone is hands down the best sushi in San Francisco. Make sure to ask for the Baked Sea Bass.

The restaurant is really small, can only host 10-15 people, and it's really crowded. So you have to prepare to queue. There's only 3 staff here. One is working on the customer serving, one as a chef and one is helping the chef. I myself have to wait for 1 hour to be seated. But it's worth to wait. It... More

Do wait...it's worth it! We arrived at 4.40, couldn't get a table for four until around six, but it was well worth the wait. Fabulous sushi. ( We went for a cocktail at Martuni's to pass the time.) We have been a few times now and never been disappointed. We just wish we had sushi to rival this in our... More
