Stopped in here for lunch on Friday. The food was delicious, especially the chicken pot pie! Also worth mentioning is the Caesar and Cobb salads, yum.

We had dinner last night at the Daily Grill before attending a show at the Golden Gate Theater. Service was just average, and the atmosphere seemed to be a bit lacking to me. Typical old-style steakhouse, dimly lit, worn leather booths. In fairness, I think I was just hoping for more of a California, healthy, fresh menu options - this... More

We literally stumbled upon this little gem unexpectedly for lunch. I had meat loaf...it would have served two of us, but it was not simply a generous serving it was amazingly good, along with a well seasoned and presented vegetable. Our waiter Guy was personable and efficient. The ambiance of this place was one of its highlights: vintage San Francisco... More

Went there to eat. I got good service, food and a couple of local beers. Especially I liked the service. I didn't have to wait the food. Maybe if you're going to eat with large group you have to wait for a table, or that it seemed to me when I was there. However, good place to eat and spend... More

Had both dinner and breakfast here. It is what I think of as an old style restaurant. Leather booths lower lighting and not as noise as so many other places are today. Menu has something for everyone and service (even though we found out this was our waiters first solo night at dinner) was very good. The prices are mid-range... More

Our first morning in San Fran we popped in for breakfast and it was fine but maybe a little expensive. Trying to get our surroundings it was the easiest choice beside our hotel. Food was grand, your typical eggs and bacon with a good glass of OJ.

Good place if you need a quick bite to eat. Ate here for breakfast and lunch and never had to wait for a table( party of 7). Large portions. Burgers and fries excellent. Only negatives was that breakfast was served cold and felt the Chicken pot pie was salty.

This was a wonderful surprise - we were walking down the street and just decided to turn into this gem of a restaurant. The service, waitperson, hostess - all incredible. The food was phenomenal- everyone had something different and each was spectacular - the waiter told us that it was comfort food and it truly was but with a epicurean... More

Had drinks here and the bartender was fantastic. Great handcrafted cocktails. Then had dinner here and the food was delicious. Probably the best restaurant in the Union Square area.

Centrally located, the Daily Grill was the perfect place for a casual business lunch. The food was decent and the service attentive - but it wasn't crazily priced. I had a burger, my colleague had a salad. No complaints. Would go back.
